Another thread had me wondering what type of gravy is the favorite of THP?

Beef based gravy.

The white sawmill gravy found on country fried steak

The kind that goes over biscuits, or mashed potatoes, or fries, or chicken fried steak, or well yeah, i like all gravy.

Plain and simple...brown gravy for me..

Nothing beats brown home-made gravy.

The kids eat it but I've never been a real fan of gravy for some reason.

Sausage gravy. If I’m going to eat fat soup poured over carbs, I’m not skimping.

As long as it's not watery, it's alllllll gravy.

Yeah, this is me.

I just made a gravy with the juices from my pulled pork. It reduced for 6 hours, set, skimmed the fat and will reduce a bit more today. The depth of flavor is staggering.

Sausage gravy is the only choice here.

Equal opportunity gravy enthusiast here.

Bacon gravy and it's not up for discussion...ha

Love me some sausage gravy and biscuits

Even though I eat gravy very seldom, but when I do, I prefer brown.

This is me exactly. Brown gravy is gross, and while I enjoy sausage gravy, I never eat it. I bet the last time I actually ordered or are a full meal with sausage gravy was when I was a kid, because my mom used to make it every now and than.

Should add giblet gravy to that mix. :clapp:

To me, it's all gravy, baby. If I can't fight the urge to lick the plate or sop it up with a biscuit, then it's perfect!

I don't discriminate when it comes to gravy, I love them all!

But if I had to choose it's always the homemade from the meat drippings!!!

Now the question is to thicken, do you prefer flour or corn starch?

I’m not picky when I do have it, but the consistency does have to be thicker and not watery.

I voted for brown but sausage gravy could be 1a.

Hard pass. And kudos to the 2 other who voted for option 4.

Never even pickup the spoon to pour gravy on my food at Thanksgiving, or anywhere else.
