How many of you practice your short game with the same style of ball you play? I would think it would be beneficial to do so but just curious.

The only time I practice with a ball other than my normal playing ball is when hitting the rocks at the range. Chips, pitches, putts and anything from 65 yards and in, I practice with the balls in my bag. We're lucky to have a couple of practice greens with a fairly long approach area to practice on. The one's with the approach aren't much for putting on, but great for short game and sand practice.
I putt with the same ball but I don't chip with that ball. I'm lucky enough to be at a course that has practice pro v1 balls at the driving range and chipping green so that's what I use. I putt with my Bridgestone balls though.
I've never seen a course that has Pro Vs at the practice area. I would imagine people steal them all the time.
