The 2022 Masters is behind us and Scottie Scheffler put on a show winning the green jacket. Just a month ago, we reported that he had signed a deal with TaylorMade Golf in the midst of his rocket ship like run on the PGA Tour.
Despite that signing, his clubs have not changed and continues to play a pretty mixed bag including the brand new Titleist Vokey SM9 K Grind wedge that got a lot of use around the greens during the final round.
Here is a look at the tools he used to win the 2022 Masters.
Driver: TaylorMade Stealth Plus 8 degrees with Fujikura Ventus Black 7x
FW Wood: TaylorMade Stealth 16.5 degrees with Fujikura Ventus Black 8x
Irons: Srixon ZU85 (3), with Nippon Pro Modus3 Hybrid Tour X, Srixon ZX7 (4), TaylorMade P-7TW (5-PW), with True Temper DG Tour Issue X100 shafts.
Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM8 50,56 and Titleist Vokey SM9 K Grind with True Temper DG Tour Issue S400 shaftsP
Putter: Titleist Scotty Cameron Special Select Tour Proto
Ball: Titleist Pro V1

Nice pickup for TaylorMade that is for sure.
I’d like to think he’d keep it because of the success. No need to change it if it’s working imo.
Yes.
2021 he had a Ping driver and Nike 3w at the Ryder Cup
Anyone know if he used the vokey on his chip-in or if it was an iron?
It was a wedge.
Depends on the brand. TaylorMade was willing to pay a pretty large sum for less clubs to get that bag and driver.
It’s been there for a bit and according to my notes, it’s a perfect gap and window thing for him
It is the older utility version as well. The new version is so much nicer and cleaner. But if you are comfortable you’re comfortable. He hit some really good shots with those clubs.
The past 5 PGA winners played blades: Mickelson, Morikawa, Koepka (2), JT.
3 out of 5 past US Open winners played blades: Woodland, Koepka (2) (though JPX 900 Tours), – add in DJ for 4 out 6 past winners
None of the past 5 Open winners played blades.
It makes me wonder if the added spin typical of blades is better suited for these courses. But the Open is always firm and fast and that pattern wasn’t the same there. Maybe because at the Open players are often trying to hit lower shots that run into the greens? I just find it interesting.
My thoughts exactly. Very interesting,3 different heads in there, 2 different shafts and several different brands. Clearly working for him though!
