The 2022 Masters is behind us and Scottie Scheffler put on a show winning the green jacket. Just a month ago, we reported that he had signed a deal with TaylorMade Golf in the midst of his rocket ship like run on the PGA Tour.
Despite that signing, his clubs have not changed and continues to play a pretty mixed bag including the brand new Titleist Vokey SM9 K Grind wedge that got a lot of use around the greens during the final round.
Here is a look at the tools he used to win the 2022 Masters.
Driver: TaylorMade Stealth Plus 8 degrees with Fujikura Ventus Black 7x
FW Wood: TaylorMade Stealth 16.5 degrees with Fujikura Ventus Black 8x
Irons: Srixon ZU85 (3), with Nippon Pro Modus3 Hybrid Tour X, Srixon ZX7 (4), TaylorMade P-7TW (5-PW), with True Temper DG Tour Issue X100 shafts.
Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM8 50,56 and Titleist Vokey SM9 K Grind with True Temper DG Tour Issue S400 shaftsP
Putter: Titleist Scotty Cameron Special Select Tour Proto
Ball: Titleist Pro V1

Definitely a bit of a mixed bag, and he hit all of it FANTASTIC this week.
Nice pickup for TaylorMade that is for sure.
I like seeing some of the mixed bags with the pros, but I do wonder if it’ll stay that way much longer with the success he’s having.

I’d like to think he’d keep it because of the success. No need to change it if it’s working imo.
That’s cool to see what’s in his bag. He is on fire! No need to change a thing.
As long as he doesn’t change the ball!
Srixon is continuing a sneaky solid season. And that shirt is incredible and I will own one soon
Before signing with TM was he playing the Stealth driver/FW and TW irons?

Yes.
Seems like he only really changed his driver and 3w from the Ping G400 or 410 LST and the Nike 3w from 2021. I’m glad TM didn’t make him overhaul his entire bag to their brand

2021 he had a Ping driver and Nike 3w at the Ryder Cup
Thanks for posting @JB
Anyone know if he used the vokey on his chip-in or if it was an iron?

It was a wedge.
Pretty cool to see the Srixon love at the top of the bag. Those wedges need to be enshrined, because they were the difference for him yesterday.
Interesting. Thanks.
Neat to see guys who can play what works best, not just everything because of one endorsement!
I honestly love this bag.. It is a lot of fun. I find it interesting the number of Taylormade staffers that are playing the P7-TW irons. There is a decent amount.
He hit his irons so damn well and he’s using the TW Taylormade irons; I know he’s that guy right now but I still think he’s an underrated ball striker

Do the contracts pros sign to endorse clubs allow for partial brand use? Or are most an “all or nothing” deal?
His long iron ball striking is impressive. Tiger like even. That 2nd shot (3rd stroke) on 18 Sat was amazing. I never heard what is was. 3/4 iron I would imagine. He’s a great player. That lack of a consistent draw may bite him at some point but it certainly hasn’t yet!

Depends on the brand. TaylorMade was willing to pay a pretty large sum for less clubs to get that bag and driver.
I love that he is playing TW irons and doesn’t hide his love of TW. Great mix of what works for his game.
Cool bag….mutt bag, love it
Interesting setup with the Srixon utility and ZX7 4i before switching to TM irons I wonder why the 4?

It’s been there for a bit and according to my notes, it’s a perfect gap and window thing for him

It is the older utility version as well. The new version is so much nicer and cleaner. But if you are comfortable you’re comfortable. He hit some really good shots with those clubs.
A ventus black 8x wood ?
I like seeing the mixed bag, it says play what is best for you.
The past 5 Masters winners played blades: Scheffler, Matsuyama, DJ, Woods, Reed (though MB-1’s).
The past 5 PGA winners played blades: Mickelson, Morikawa, Koepka (2), JT.
3 out of 5 past US Open winners played blades: Woodland, Koepka (2) (though JPX 900 Tours), – add in DJ for 4 out 6 past winners
None of the past 5 Open winners played blades.
It makes me wonder if the added spin typical of blades is better suited for these courses. But the Open is always firm and fast and that pattern wasn’t the same there. Maybe because at the Open players are often trying to hit lower shots that run into the greens? I just find it interesting.

My thoughts exactly. Very interesting,3 different heads in there, 2 different shafts and several different brands. Clearly working for him though!
Vokey SM9 60 K
add to cart
Spec sheets for his driver and 3 wood.
Fuji Ventus and Stealth driver will rule 2022.
It’s interesting that he started his run this year after shifting to Tiger Wood’s irons (after seeing Tiger play with them). Apparently they are working!
