While out at the LPGA Classic, the THP Tour Van caught up with Odyssey Golf to get a video preview demonstrating the new Flip Face putter. Over on the forum, there is a lot of debate on this one and we wanted to get the information straight from the source and show exactly how it works.
Wow! Fast and easy to rotate. I thnk I want one. I also like Nick’s hat and jacket. Cool video.
Impressive, I plan to roll one at demo day for sure. Thanks for the video.
Nice video, thanks for sharing this.
I guess I never really thought about how the putter comes apart to rotate the face. Makes it look like a big adjustment. Also like how Nick kept his cool under pressure….thought he wasn’t going to make it for a second there!
Nice video. This video really makes me want one. I can’t wait to try it out at demo day.
Interesting looking stuff, never ceases to amaze me on what will come out next. Hope to roll it and check it out during the THP Demo Day.
Gotta admit, this is pretty cool. No experience with the white ice or metal x inserts, but I like where Odyssey is thinking outside the box.
Very cool. Still unsure of the need but it’s a cool putter
Thanks for the video, for some reason I was expecting the rotating face piece to be much thicker than it actually is.
Great video, I still really like the idea a lot and if I could find one in lefty I would consider it.
Nice Video GG, thanks for doing this.
I want Nicks’s jacket too TC…LOL
I like how Nick struggled for a minute but didn’t freak out, it’s an interesting concept….just not sure how much I need it….I think I would rather have a consitant feel to my putter than to be switching all the time.
Still pretty skeptical of this putter from a cost/value/need perspective, but I have no doubt Odyssey has a well made product here. Companies like this do their homework before R&D get’s it on the table.
Thanks for the Video
Not sure about this one.
I was waiting for him to drop the screw then what?
I’ll give it a roll if its at the outing , wondering about the feel.
Can’t say I’m a fan. I like the concept, but this just seems a bit clumsy to me. Thanks for the video.
Awesome video and concept. I love the idea and that Callaway is thinking outside the box.
When I first heard about this I didn’t think I’d like it, I was envisioning something different in terms of switching the face. I do like how it locks in real nice and tight. I still don’t know how often a person would really need to change it, but if you’re playing a lot of different style courses and greens it makes sense.
Gonna have to roll one to see what I really think. I’m skeptical of these so far.
I like the idea and think the execution is even neater. I wasn’t sure how it would work, but I like what Odyssey did – the open/close mechanism locks the face in making it like part of the club instead of just a horizontal swivel you can loosen.
Very cool idea and looks like a solid product.
Very cool idea! I’m curious to see what the weighting is like with this putter
Great video and a cool product, but I am not convinced that it reaches its price point.
Not sure that this would be something I would buy, but it is a cool product. But if you can get the two faces in two different putters for cheaper, why not just do that?
