Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show. Hosted by Dan Edwards each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today Dan welcomes golf industry veteran, VP of Marketing and Product Architecture of Cobra Golf, Jose Miraflor to the show to discuss a slew of topics including diving in deeper on their new LTDx line of clubs.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Jose joins the show to talk all about LTDx, WITB, jacked lofts, the dynamics of forgiveness and so much more. This show has a lot going on and it is an episode you will not want to miss as the man who is affectionately known as the Little Rat goes Off Course.
Episode 97 is here and Dan and Jose discuss the following topics.
Cobra LTDx Drivers
Jacked Lofts
The Morgan Cup
How is Cobra Doing in the Marketplace
Forgiveness vs Performance
And so much more
You can listen to the show right here, Apple Podcasts or of anywhere you do your listening and downloading from. I really enjoyed this podcast today. Great job @Canadan. Jose was recruiting pretty hard today… Gotta love it.
Finally got to listen to this episode, another beauty @Canadan. Jose sounds like a great guy and would love the opportunity to meet him someday
Once again a great episode today. Loved hearing about the thinking behind LTDx and the other clubs.
Back to listening now after this morning! Excited to hear more!
Glad you guys enjoyed it today!! I know every time I comment with the @LittleRat its a great time.

Schröeinger’s Dan?
Ok I listened once while Welding today. Will listen again tonight. I’m sure I missed something that I need to know. What I do know is I want to spend more money now. Was trying to refrain from looking at the x driver but Jose pushed me over the edge. Oh I need a bag full of proto irons. Wish we had gotten a firm date on them. More concrete than a couple months.
The “Oh Sh*t” handle :ROFLMAO: I love when people call it that! Also, is that the first cuss word on The Original Off Course? I don’t remember hearing one before. Everyone is always so well behaved lol

Not sure if it did you but it sure did me.
Reached the point where lofts are about as strong as they’re going to make them?!??! Like, we’re supposed to okay with this level of jackage … forever??
I don’t like it. Sounds like quitter talk.
This was an interesting episode for me. I was able to learn some things about the LTDx and its design. I’m not the most knowledgeable about the technology and the design. I really appreciate having someone like Jose explain things in an understandable fashion.
This was a really informative episode. Makes me really want to be a part of the Morgan cup. Here’s to crossing fingers.

Hard to tell by the presidential over throw you tried at the end of this. Lol.

I have been rolling that thing since their tech studio visit and I am excited for their launch of the new lineup.
They are poised to have a solid year and if people jump into the bay and test products, there are a few really good lineups this year.

No more oops protection? I kinda liked that feature of the infinity face. Really cool listen and insight behind the curtain.
Great episode!
Finished it on the way home. Another great episode. I think that’s the first time I’ve listened to TLR – super articulate and easy to listen to.

Haha, I do love it too – but there’s something to say about presentation not being too crazy Different from others.
Time to settle in and listen (work took too much time today…)
Is this the first sponsored by UST or have I zoned out during the intro?

The way it was explained makes total sense. From a tour player perspective it’s 100% a no brainer. For your weekend hacker, it’s not a bad feature for when that ball jumps up a few inches off the tee from the massive vacuum left by a driver swing. That has to be it because it can’t be my swing. ??
I’m enjoying the visual of Yagley and Jose wearing safety glasses in the hitting bay, waiting to see if a proto breaks
And I didn’t do it on purpose, but I’m wearing Cloudspun right now

You are thinking about the LTDX LS driver aren’t you?
I know most companies have projected goals year to year and in the future but it sounds like the growth of Cobra has been awesome! The tech talk was very interesting on how they decide what tech to keep and toss. I always wonder how Rickie helps in development but then doesn’t play the products. Maybe he will get into the LTD this year.
Going to have to trade the alphacat in for a 10.5 and hope they fit better. Sounds like they are a winner!
