At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by the golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing.
Recently THP sent out TaylorMade ATV wedges to a number of forum members and it has been their job to review these unique clubs. Follow along for another consumer based review and find out what regular golfers just like you think about this new wedge.
THP TaylorMade ATV Wedge Reviews
The THP reviewers have done a stellar job thus far in telling us how the ATV wedge is working for them and it seems that TaylorMade has a real winner with this new design! Looking forward to the continued updates.
I’ve been following this review for some time and love what the reviewers are doing, keep up the great work guys
Thanks so much to THP and Taylormade Golf for giving myself and these other testers a great opportunity to test these amazing wedges.
These wedges are not to be slept on. I firmly believe these are some of the best wedges in the game of golf right now, and I’m so thankful to be able to work with both THP, Taylormade, and my fellow testers in telling the world what these are all about!
Thanks to TaylorMade Golf & THP, I was chosen as one of the testers for the UTV wedge. I love it and have found it excels from not only full shots, but tough shots out of the rough, sand traps, pitch shots, and any shot you could imagine with a sand wedge. You need to try one. I have not doubt you will be pleasantly surprised!
I am really enjoying this testing thus far, and as others have said above me, this is a great wedge. It is a little early to give it the trophy just yet, but if it keeps it up these will easily be the best wedges I have had the privilege of swinging. The ease of use is simply amazing, and gets me excited at every chance I get to pull it out of the bag.
Thanks again to TaylorMade and THP for this testing opportunity. To my fellow testers, keep up the great work guys!
Testing the TaylorMade ATV 56* wedge has been a real honor. The one wedge fit’s all concept is no joke with this design, from heavy rough to thin hard packed ground I feel like I can get the ball up and down from anywhere. This company has a real winner on their hands in the ATV, thanks THP and TaylorMade.
There has been some awesome information so far, keep it coming everyone. I love the versatility this wedge is showing!
I’m gaming 2 of these right now and could not be happier. They have performed everywhere on the golf course. Simply amazing.
Thanks to THP and Taylormade for this awesome testing opportunity. As a mid handicapper, the wedge has really complemented my game and I have been working hard at testing this wedge out in various conditions and I am seeing my short game improve. I love how versatile this wedge is!
I have LOVED testing this wedge. It’s a wedge that has performed, without having the sky high piles of fluff to live up to. TaylorMade has gotten it spot on with All Terrain Versatility.
Thanks again to TaylorMade and THP! for the opportunity.
Its been a very pleasant surprise so far testing this wedge. You would be very surprised just how good it is and how versatile it is. Its all in the testing thread in that link. Great picture of that wedge up there!
I have a 52 & a 58 on order…should arrive Tuesday.
The shot I often have trouble with is the 50 or 60 yard pitch into a green off a soft surface. If I don’t nip the ball off the surface the wedge I am using, a Cleveland 53 degree, often digs into the ground and the ball ends up 10 yards further. If what I read is true these ATV wedges should solve the problem? Yeah right.
Hmmmm, am I suspicious? Well yes I am so I will leave a review later this week.
I play off 12 by the way, so these shots are proving to be very costly.
Great job by all the testers and thanks to TaylorMade for offering testing to THP members. I wanted to comment on how impressed I am with TMaG for trying something new in wedge design. Also the THP Radio interview was particularly eye opening. Well done.
As usual, TM has hit a home run with innovation!
I’ve had these wedges for a while now and thought it worth coming back with a longer term view. The ATV is a great wedge that outperforms other wedges with unusual soles (Renegar, Scor etc). I know as I’ve bought them all and have tested them. I’m sticking with the ATV because it genuinely gives versatility in all kinds of lies, sand, and rough. I play a tight links and a wettish parkland and these wedges are the first that allow me to keep the same clubs in the bag. I’m no TM badger – I play AP2s and 910 woods – but I am not regretful that I moved on from the seemingly automatic SM4s. The ATV has changed my short game and my view of TaylorMade. I’m even toying with the idea of trying the RocketBladez now… but let’s see how good they are.
