Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 193. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Aaron Dill, Director of Tour Relations and Kevin Tassistro, Director of Vokey Wedge Development Design join the show to dive into everything you want to know about the new Vokey SM10 wedges.
It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan, Aaron and Kevin dive into how the team used Tour and Amateur feedback in design. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Aaron Dill and Kevin Tassistro go Off Course.

Episode 193 is here and Dan, Aaron and Kevin discuss the following topics.
Progressive CG
Finish and Grind Options – Making Those Decisions
Vokey Team Connection to Irons and Woods Lineup
“Don’t Take Things Personally”
Using Tour and Amateur Feedback in Design of Vokey SM10 Wedges
And so much more

Listened to this while doing my grocery shopping and rather enjoyed it. Not always easy conducting a show with multiple guests on at once but Dan showed off his prowess there.
Also…I feel I was one included about the cleaning of the grooves question.
Great info!
The grinds fascinate me. I had an indoor wedge fitting for Vokeys 2 years ago and have changed grinds from what I was fit into. The explanations online and interviews have helped, but seeing how the grinds perform in real conditions was the best way to see what works.
Had the chance to listen, and all I know is after hearing everything about the grinds I definitely need fit haha.
Great listen. I naturally settled on t grind in lob wedge. I’d like to get fit outside, problem is the ranges they use actually have lush grass. They should fit you on terrible bare lie ranges. That’s what you get a lot of in AZ

I’m here to make you better. Mostly.
Really enjoyed listening to the podcast over the weekend. Very much enjoy all equipment pods with the OEM’s. Always come away with a tidbit or two.
Heat treated face to make the grooves last longer…….. I’m so curious to hear what the fitter comes up with and what grinds I get fit for. Here’s to more birdies in 2024!
Good listen. Enjoyed the COG conversation and how they are challenging their own thinking. Would love to see some of the blue sky projects that didn’t make it.

Though I’m a long time M grind guy, the discussion about Bermuda really has me wanting to try some D grinds in the SW and LW

58.12D is a really nice option around the greens
This was a good listen. It’s going to be eye opening to go through this experience with Titleist as I have clearly put way too little thought into wedges in the past. Always very interesting to hear how decisions are made to figure out what to release.
Great listen! New around here so this was also my introduction to Off Course. Loved it and will definitely be tuning in for more.
I have a set of SM10s on the way and this just gets me more excited for them.
