2024 PUMA Golf x Arnold Palmer Collection

There is no denying that as I have gotten older, I have become more and more of a golf apparel nerd. Not only in terms of styles and materials, but the different collaborations which various brands have engaged in. However, for me personally, there is one which I herald among the most anticipated and exciting every single year, that is of course the PUMA Golf x Arnold Palmer collection.

No one in the game has ever personified class and legendary styling like The King, so seeing what comes from this combo each year is of the upmost excitement for a lot of golfers. The time is now for the new 2024 Spring/Summer catalog, and THP has the scoop.

2024 PUMA Golf x Arnold Palmer Collection

When PUMA first announced several years ago that they would be shepherding the Arnold Palmer name in style and apparel into the future, there was a bit of surprise for many, including myself. At first glance, it just didn’t seem to mesh with where PUMA Golf had been coming from, but to this point they have absolutely nailed it time and again.

As it turns out, this is a collaboration which PUMA Golf takes very seriously. When taking on the namesake of the man revered as THE King in golf the focus is creating what the brand calls a “fashion forward” look that takes from the eras of Arnie to blend classic colors and sophistication with modern methods. For 2024, the AP Collection is growing to include seven polos, one full-zip jacket, pleated shorts, three hats, one visor, and four limited-edition shoes.

Front and center will be the legendary Umbrella logo which to this day brings immediate recognition of Mr. Palmer regardless of age or level of attention given to this crazy game we love. There is an emphasis again on bringing the subtle pastel pinks, blues, and greens to the forefront while working them with fun patterns and bold, rich, navy blues.

There is also a much heavier emphasis on footwear with four different limited edition options this time around. For the spiked users there is the Phantomcat which brings cleanliness and mixes it with all the colors and symbols which we relate to The King. The other three are spikeless offerings with the Fusion Classic and Slipstream G, blending on and off course functionality with modern sneaker fashion, while the new Avant may be the most Arnold Palmer looking shoe ever with the old school off-white styling meeting new school spikeless capabilities.

Polos: AP Jaquard Stripe, AP Floral, AP Floral Trim, AP Iced Tea, AP MATTR Traditions, AP Checkered, AP Geo Polos ($90)

Layering: AP Zip Jacket ($150)

Shorts: AP Pleated Shorts ($90)

Hats: Palmer P Cap, AP Floral Tech Cap, AP Iced Tea Cap, AP High Crown Visor ($40)

Shoes: AP Avant ($170), AP Fusion Classic ($120), AP Phantomcat Nitro ($190), AP Slipstream G ($150)

Going forward as we work toward Bay Hill and the Arnold Palmer Invitational you can expect to see much of this collection worn by Puma staffers across the Tour, with Rickie Fowler specifically front and center. The new line will be available today on www.pumagolf.com
