At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by the golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. Who is ready to test the Callaway JAWS Raw wedges?
Callaway JAWS Raw Wedges
Last month Callaway released the JAWS Raw wedges in multiple finishes and they are hitting stores today. If you missed our featured preview on the technology, you can find it here. We want to find out how well they work in the hands of golfers who want to review them in our online community.
We are looking for FIVE THPers that want to test a brand new wedge for a period of a couple of months and report their feedback on our forum. At the conclusion of the testing, the wedge is yours to keep.
Criteria
We will select a group of THPers to test a Callaway JAWS Raw wedge
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
You will be reviewing the wedge for a period of 60 days.
How to Signup
Tell us which loft, grind and finish you want to test and why.
Are you able to review and answer questions daily or close on THP?
We will announce the testers later this week. If you are not selected and want to pick up a new Callaway JAWS Raw wedge, or are and want to round out the set, check out their website here.
What about question 2? ????
Wish I could as I have the regular version in 54 and 58 but I’m not one to practice.
Additionally I bought a set of SM8s that I’m currently messing around with on the course

Wasn’t to you in particular as much as the other half of the answers.
60° Full Toe C-Grind Chrome.
I’ve been gaming the OG PM Grind and it’s getting long in the tooth. I love the full face grooves and the “security blanket” feel out of the bunkers with it. Looking for a replacement 60° wedge in it’s place.
I am on the forum daily (or close to it) and will be able to answer questions/test the wedge in numerous conditions and get numbers on a LM regularly

Its definitely not. We love getting equipment reviews from THPers and what better way than to put the brand new Callaway wedges in the hands of golfers and have them supply direct feedback.

I have no idea why I typed out that post. I’ll go serve my timeout in the corner now.

Also a good number of people picking grind and loft combos that don’t exist ?

Personal favorite was the bronze finish ?
I would love to test out a 48 degree, but they’re only offered in RH. So…. I would like to try a 50 degree in an S grind to see if I can generate some spin that is conspicuously absent from my current SM8 wedge. I’m going to have to say the chrome finish, because I can’t find anywhere that it’s described as otherwise. I’ve done the black wedges before and am over them.
While I only play on the weekends I do get to the forum daily so I can answer any questions others have.

I laughed.
Then I went back to check mine and make sure it existed, then answer question two…..

54* S grind Chrome. I use my sw for full shots, chips, pitches and bunker shots. I would love to test the new raw face wedge. Yes, I would daily post observations and answer questions. Thanks
I can’t wait to see who all gets picked. These are game changing wedges!

The Jaws Full Toe Raw Face Chrome Sand wedge in 54* RH C Grind. I use my sw for full shots, chips, pitches and bunker shots. I would love to test the new raw face wedge. Yes, I would daily post observations and answer questions. Thanks

Just a heads up the C grind is not part of the new line.
52°, S Grind, plasma black finish
I am need of a new gap wedge & I would love to try Callaway(Usually play Cleveland wedges)
Yes, I will make sure to be available to answer any questions to the best of my ability
Chrome 54w or 60x whatever needs more coverage. Traded in my last set of Jaws hedging the new release and had Several failed experiments in the interim this season. I am ready to go back to right back to what worked and should have never left the bag to begin with.
A full-toe 58° in black is already high on my radar as a guy who’s sworn by Callaway wedges for at least 8 years. Love the look and I’m excited to see how they can improve my game and prove what new wedges can do around the greens.

The specs say C Grind, so I think it is.
I would like to try the 54/58 S-Grind. I am on my second set of MD5 wedges, one set was ordered just before these were announced so I am very curious. I can be on the forum for daily updates.
Sweet. 58/10 Full Toe Raw Face Chrome.
I’d love to stack it up against Vokey and Cleveland for shotmaking and feel.
Never had a full face before, but in a 58 it sounds very versatile…….
Black plasma 58* in the S grind. I am in the market for new wedges and very interested. I am not teaching this summer so I have plenty of time to put the wedge through its paces and attend to forum responsibilities.

Two parts to the first, then there’s the second. Hate to see a bunch miss out on a great opportunity to test out these wedges.
I’d love to test a chrome 60* Z grind against my SM7, but I’m afraid I don’t play enough to justify taking up a spot in the test. Good luck to those who enter.
I would be so stoked to test one of these wedges. I would definitely be able to provide the requested feedback for the sixty day period.
I would like to try a Black Plasma 58* in the Z Grind. I have two wedges that have really stood out for me over the last two years, a Milled Grind Tiger Woods 60* and a Cleveland RTX ZipCore 58* tour rack. Both had a similar looking grind to the 3 level grind of the Z Grind. It would be really cool to compare and if the Callaway went into the bag permanently after the 60 days, it would allow me to get away from having both a 60* and 56* Tiger Woods grind, leaving me an option at the other end of the bag. That could be a game changer.
Love me some raw wedges. 54*, S-Grind in the Chrome finish. These look great. I play 3 times a week and would be happy to share my thoughts after each round.
Hey there Josh! I recently entered in on Instagram but just making sure I am posting where i should be! 😉 I would love the opportunity to get my hands on an S grind Jaws raw (black)! I would take any lofts available, although if available, would prefer a 52 and 56. I most certainly would oblige to leaving an honest detailed review on this set of wedges for THP!
