A few days ago Dustin Johnson withdrew from this week’s WGC Bridgestone Invitational. The #16th ranked player in the world cited personal reasons and fans were left to wonder what the future held.

Today Johnson answered the questions and had these quotes which leave some wondering about the future for the 30 year old.

“I am taking a leave of absence from professional golf, effective immediately.”
“I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced.”

Rumors have been around for quite some time about numerous issues, but nothing has come of that. This could be good news for the young man as he gets ready to face the next stage of his career.  THPers are discussing this on the forum and you can join in the conversation here.
