I though about this too but while Caddyshack is a great golf comedy, the others focus more on the game and as a fellow addict I loved that about them, plus I kind of like the history that comes into play on the others.

The beauty of our beloved game is that I can watch any movie related to golf and I will like it, however Happy Gilmore is just too funny..... I want a hockey stick putter!

I have the Bobby Jones movie in my Netflix queue, looking forward to it.

lol I remember watching that one once late night on some channel when I was young. Randy Quaid can stripe it!

I'd probably put Caddyshack just a hair ahead of Tin Cup for my top 2.

Caddyshack is the obvious choice but I did enjoy The Greatest Game Ever Played.

I am going to unfavourably disagree my friend. Caddyshack is all goofy.. Not a fan of the movies that kind of mock the tradition and etiquette of the game.

I've got to see Dead Solid Perfect... I have never been able to find it..

Just thought I would list a few others that did not get mentioned: Miracle on the 18th green and A Gentleman's Game... for those of you who just can't get enough golf movies in your system...

Caddyshack hands down, it is by far in my top 3 movies of all time and is one that is quoted in our groups all the time on the course, sometimes even off the course!
