My buddies tee time was at 11:30 today, mine was at 1:15.. we arrived at the course at about 10:30.. everything was delayed and I didn't tee off til 2. I was waiting around at the course for 3 and a half hours before I teed off. As I'm walking down 1 fairway, he's already done 9 holes.

I don't understand how people won't let you play through. People that don't do that really irk me, especially when I play as a single.

pickup driving about 5 cars in front on the hwy... carrying a bathtub in the bed
bathtub flies out
everyone in front slams brakes swerves spins out
here we go baby!
this is where all those playstation/xbox racing games will pay off
one foot on the gas one foot on the brake both hands on the wheel
swerve to the left swerve to the right
looking in the rear view to see if the guys behind me are about to start a pile up
i could see them doing the grand tourismo and hoping and praying we dont end up playing twisted metal instead
missed the car in front and the car on the left by a few feet
the guys behind me missed by inches
the only thing wrecked... was the bathtub! w000h00

my rant... no matter how heavy stuff is in your pickups bed... tie that crap down!

I have moved a lot of stuff and have never lost anything yet. I tie everything down, to the extreme. Better safe than sorry.

I laugh when I see people pulled over off the highway tying everything down, again.

Holy hell. Was it one of those big cast iron tubs.

I was behind a truck a few weeks ago that was carrying huge tree stumps, I noticed that one of the stumps was coming loose and my internal Spidey Sense told me to pull over. At that very second a huge stump, easily 300lbs fell off the back of the truck and roll into the road. The car behind me swerved into the other lane and ran down into a ditch on the side of the road. Everyone was fine, and thankfully the driver of the truck stopped.

I would like to rant about 3balls.com and their shameless shill bidding on every item they sell on Ebay. At the end of EVERY auction I have watched of theirs a bidder who's has a private rating will make a bid to jack the price. If you lookup this bidder you will see that they have over 55% of their bids with 3balls. Also, the items I have been watching routinely sell higher than their listed on their website. I have no problem with the items from 3balls as I have purchased from their site. It annoys me that they use Ebay as a way to boost profits on items that they are selling already on their website. Since this is a big online community have they ever answered to this specific complaint.

Rant #2 for the night. Just got back from GG and was hoping to pick up my shaft for my driver. When I installed my head it would not tighten all the way down. Seems like I bought a fake r11 sleeve off of Ebay (imagine that!). I'm pissed because I was hoping to use it to outdrive my buddy tomarrow. Now I will have to wait a week while they install a real sleeve. BTW, GG is selling real TM R11 sleeves now so no more relying on Ebay scam artists to supply my reshafting needs. Although they are $29!!!
I feel a little better now.

The women folk had a little party at the house tonight. A buddy and I hung out and drank copious amounts of landshark. Got home and walked in my kitchen, apparently a sprinkle factory exploded here at some point tonight.

5. Car wash? (JERKS! It could be -5 deg F and they'll ask this!)
6. Select fuel. (Scan keypad for button. It's not on the keypad. It's by the handle.)
7. Begin fueling. (OK. Handle in. Button locked. And...no fuel. "OK?" Wait, there's a little lever to lift on this machine. Wait, the computer paused. Did I lose everything? "Enter?" "Yes?" Oh wait, it's going again.)
8. Proceed with 30 second fueling.

yes, totally agree. i'm in TX and from IL, so I always feel like the zip code question is tricky. For some time it depended on the gas station on whether it accepted my zip, so eventually I started choosing "credit" on a debit and that worked...until this week. I chose credit and one was smart enough to know it was a debit card. So yeah, I get it.

it wasnt a cast iron one(the type with the feet) but i know it would take at least 2 ppl to move that thing and at least 4 to lift it onto that pickup bed
i always imagined a person taking a bath while rolling down the hwy hahah
