Since I can, also doing Briggs Ranch with the boys in the spring. Cannot wait to finally get onto Dormie property and have a great few days
I'm only about an hour and a half away from TPC San Antonio if you have and extra day. Just throwing it out there.

My schedule is completely open next year as far as trips. Nothing planned yet.

Will let you know depending on flights and hotel stays etc

I've got a friends wedding in Tulum in August and we will be playing golf. I also have another friend that says he owes me a golf trip somewhere next year for some referrals. I need to decide where I want to go. This thread will be a good source of inspiration.

I am turning 50 in 2024 and was always thinking of doing a golf trip to celebrate. Originally I was thinking Cabot, which is still a solid possibility.

I have committed to Jank+Nate-fest in April but hope to add at least one other THPer based gathering. Even if only weekend trips I plan to make 2024 the year of traveling for golf.

Who knows, maybe I get lucky and get into another experience?

Hope the odds are in your favor for Old ballot. Looks good.
We didn’t get the advanced hit, so we are at the mercy of the two day prior. Not the end of the world, we’ll get it.

Have 2 weeks with 12 rounds in Ireland. 8 guys first week and 8 couples 2nd week. SW rotation then slide up NW with couples for a mix golf touring.

Be prepared to sleep out starting at 10pm if ballot unsuccessful. Demand is 10x supply.

Buddy of mine and I legit are prepped for it. We’re hopeful we don’t have to, but we’ll make it work whatever day we have to shift around to get on there to be safe.

I'm first up if one of the 8 happens to be called to testify at a murder trial!

We have sort of a planned a trip to Kearney Nebraska for late spring.

What routes we take to, and from will be a roll of the dice.

I will have my clubs and any golf courses I run into, will get my attention.

and since we now have verified east Canada will let you in .... we're doing Banff/Whistler?? I'm buying the whisky! I need to get vengeance for that 410 yard drive of yours at Horseshoe!

I’ve got a weekend out in Palm Springs on the calendar for January.

Hoping to get at least 2 other 3-4 days golf trips setup throughout the year

Just agreed on dates for a trip with 3 buddies to Tahoe in August. Haven’t talked about courses yet.
Briggs Ranch with a boatload of THP’rs in October(ish)!!!!
Would love to see if I could get something for the late winter/early spring to kick off the golf season.

Finishing up at Jameson Links. Have you been since Reno? Staying at Old Head first time staying there.

Right now have a trip planned end of January to beginning of February that my coach is putting on for his students. Florida as of right now, but nothing set in stone yet.

They actually perform 2 ballots but just post as 1. The local ballot would improve odds quite a bit. Once there engage with all who will listen and try to line up a local that would include you on their ballot. Good Luck. The 8 I'm in Ireland with 4 hit an Old time so they are over 2 days early to play Old prior. That threw a wrench in their plans to catch bus with rest. My guess is that diversion is costing each 2k.

Right now I know @dutchie and I are going to be golfing somewhere... just not sure where yet. 2024's a long time away and has plenty of time in it

From NV - some good golf routing there with a St George, Denver/Boulder to Kearney path.

Our 22nd annual Super Bowl boys weekend to either Phoenix or Naples. We need to lock this down and we’ll do it soon when all of us are in Vegas for a NFL game and concert at The Sphere the weekend of December 9th.

We tentatively have an Ireland golf trip planned for May of 2025.

@PatsFan - when is the world amateur? If it's deep enough into 2024, I may well sign up, as I want to resume my golf after knee surgery recovery. Let me know if you need a roommate - if I can swing it (the dates and the clubs!)

That would be one golf trip for me.

Edit to add a few more. at least 1 trip to see all the NC members that I have the pleasure of playing golf and breaking bread with. too many of you to name, but here's a few @e1iterate @pumbaa @outlawx @SC Putter and I know I missed a few, so, apologies for that.

Another - may not be a trip - but who knows, to see and golf with a handful of SC members - @Davidhibler @PackersGirl @Scorp @PapaJohick - who else ? 2024 gotta make this happen.

I have a buddy in TN that I want to have a golf weekend with annually.

Gotta find time for a round with @xThor Neil has such a great life outlook, sense of humor and game - and how else will I get to see and try putters that I might ordinarily miss?

And finally, if decide to go, Rolling Stones in Orlando in June - golf and the stones - that's a pretty nice weekend for me!

Looking to do my Bachelor party sometime in May and I was thinking in Charleston, SC. About half of the guys coming are golfers and the other half aren't, but would love to find a public course where all of us can ride. Some can golf and the others can just ride along and partake in some beverages (responsibly).

Congrats on your upcoming wedding - you have my most sincere sympathy!

So, it all depends on where you are staying and what you are willing to spend.

High end - rent a nice place on Seabrook or Kiawah and play their courses - they are seldom busy - would gladly take your money and you could do the replay rate at the Ocean Course if things went well (and you stay at Kiawah). Non-Ocean course gonna a be (estimates only - $175 and up), Ocean course for just 1 round $500 or more and caddy fees. less if you are able to do the replay rate.

Next tier - and again depends on your price range and where you are staying.
If south of the city/peninsula - Shadowmoss - reasonable rates but not sure about getting a block - contact them. And Stono Ferry - great track but about 50% more than Shadowmoss.

If you are staying in Mt Pleasant - Charleston National, Patriot's Point, and few others in the area - that I can't think of right now!

In city - the Charleston Muni dates to 1929 - and I think is actually older than that - can be windy and greens are really interesting - you will remember them - but probably hard to get a block - if you do, it's a treat, it's in the city, and really cheap - but, it's also a legit muni so sand (for example) may be spotty.

If you are farther away - lot's of courses in Summerville just far enough away to be less hectic and you can still get the great Charleson food if that's a thing for you all - or bar hopping too.

@PapaJohick - what did I miss?

If I am cleared to play, I expect to be included in one round - so would @PapaJohick 😬
