What brand do you think is the most complete with all of their equipment overall? This is not a favorites thing or a best equipment thing, just unbiased most complete line. Please include 2011 clubs and balls also. American market only. Japan not included.

My vote goes to Callaway / Odyssey.

Drivers / Woods: After entering the adjustable market this year, they have a driver for almost everyone. Wide variety of price points and all geared towards different players.

Hybrids: 3 models, gotta be one for you!

Irons: Blades, two players irons, 3 GI models, and an SGI iron. Actually that's only the RAZR line. Throw Diablo Edge and Forged in there too.

Wedges: I would actually give Cleveland the best wedge line for their 3 styles currently, but the JAWS and Forged wedges are just great. Many options for lofts and bounces.

Putters: This is what took the win away from TaylorMade. Odyssey has two lines of milled putters, the new Metal X putters that really intrigue me, soft insert and firm insert putters, and a bajillion different head shapes in each line. Anyone who can't find one in there that works for them is extremely picky with putters.

Balls: Tour ball. Budget premium ball. Last year's Tour balls now dirt cheap. Loads of options under $25 now. Very complete line of balls.

Not to mention the clothing line, eyewear line, and their own branded rangefinders. Plus great bag offerings.

Wouldnt it be one of the only companies that also owns a shaft company?

Callaway does in fact Rule!

Are they made for Callaway or are they their own shaft? Because the woods and hybrids have Callaway shafts stock on the usually...

Those shafts come from other companies though. There are companies out there that actually make their own shafts. Mizuno and Srixon come to mind as two companies that have everything from ball to shafts and every club. Wouldnt they be the most complete brands because they are two of a select few that are in fact actually complete?

That make absolutely everything? Sri Sports. Have to go with them, they have every part of the market thoroughly covered.

Obviously if you are bringing shafts into the equation you have to go Cleveland/Srixon.

If Shafts aren't accounted for, its hard to argue against any one of Callaway, Taylormade or Cleveland/Srixon. All three company's make a full line of clubs, balls, clothing, bags, and just about any accessory you might need.

I sort of agree on Callaway mostly because of all their clothing and apparel and other miscellaneous things plus all of the club options you talked about. Though Srixon does have a ton of stuff as well mostly the shafts. But not as many club options as Callaway (I don't think, I may be wrong), and they don't have the same level of apparel and other stuff like rangefinders as Callaway (again, I'm not totally sure).

Thechosen1 agrees with this.

The reason I don't go for Mizuno is because their putter area is weak and they don't have a stake in the ball market.

The reason I didn't give it to TM is they only have the Pure Roll insert putters. No variety of inserts or milled (At least since the GHOST line came out).

Really I was thinking only American here. If you include Japanese market the picture changes...

Mizuno has some real nice putters they sell in Japan and Europe as well as a balls.

SeeMore. They are an American company who is innovative and makes some of the best golf equipment on the market.

I prefer my companies to not be Jack of all trades. I want masters of one.

I know the OP wont like it, but I would say Nike would need to be included. Their product line is very good for both clubs, balls, accessories, and apparel.

If you include shafts in to the equation than it would probably have to be cleveland golf.

I knew I was leaving a company out. Nike is definitely up there with the other three.

Just because I don't like Nike doesn't mean their product line isn't complete. Unbiased, I actually agree. Not much they are lacking in.

Would have to add TMaG - TaylorMade adidas Golf - Complete line of equipment, apparel, footwear, eyewear and accessories. Great performance product for every level of golfer!! Love em.

So where is your SeeMore?

So based on this logic, should there be companies making solely drivers and woods, solely irons, solely wedges, etc...

Cleveland/Srixon/Never Compromise

They make everything you need to play golf except the grass.

There are such companies out there. I don't think it's bad logic. Bettinardi makes only putters and they are superb.

My two SeeMores are sitting in my putter rack. If SeeMore had a flare toed blade with a plummers neck, I would be all over it like a fat girl on a birthday cake.

Where's your bag full of Callaway.

It would not be business smart for one for one company with a massive amount of resources to limit themselves.

I love Callaway too. Although id put them in a very close second to Titleist. If I had to chose to fill my bag with one company it would be titleist only bc I think they get the edge on there wedges and putters.

I've seen them and I agree, but I'm really asking only American here...

I always assumed we had a pretty diverse member culture here.

I know I'm not American and my vote probably wont matter, nor will you care, but Cleveland/Srixon gets my vote.

Another vote for Cleveland/Srixon. I'm not aware of them branding much in the way of clothing (beside headwear). Excellent products in my humble opinion. KCM

I am wearing a Cleveland Classics shirt right now...
