I love my Mac mini set up to the flat screen. So easy to set up.

Tapping from my S3

I have a cable to hook up my phone to my TV, but I have never tried it. If I were at home, I would definitely try it with the MC. Still insanely jealous though.

I had never heard of it, will look into it if it can be streamed on Netflix.

Minirant based on this One-T Post, does anyone feel like the quality/number of movies on Netflix streaming has gone downhill. I look through there ocassionaly and I am just dissapointed in the selection. Me and my girlfriend like watching documentaries a lot, but I feel like the movie selection is well below average

Amazon Prime Instant Video laughs at Netflix.

Netflix absolutely sucks for movies. I primarily watch it for some TV series (Top Gear, SoA, etc.) and anime.

This is a little surprising and I hate to see it. I am going to assume I have an idea of who you are speaking of when referencing that, and I can tell you I have seen you in many conversations with these people you speak of. I hate seeing that on this forum though. Then it lumps THP in with other forums and thats just not the case.

The irony of your post getting skipped over. :D

Its the worst for movies. I contemplated cancelling it because I rarely ever use it but it is good for TV shows.

I didnt respond because you threatened me into dropping it. Remember?

I used the free month of Netflix and chose not to pay for the service because the selection was crap IMO. I heard it is good for tv shows

I am really going to enjoy something in about 5 minutes. Probably should go in the Happy Happy thread, but it fits better here.

So what you are saying is some people will be happy but more people will complain?

Seth,
Pour it in a Solo Cup dude

I don't have any mouth wash even though I do have Solo cups in my office

Yeah, it is worth the cost just for the TV shows to me. Still annoying. Something better will come along shortly I think.

I loved Netflix when I was getting DVDs, but when I changed to online streaming, 2/3 of my queue disappeared and they don't get new stuff up until months after release. I only keep it to get past seasons of some of the BBC series stuff.

I watched Prison break in its entirety (3 seasons) in about 3 weeks last summer and then I used it to watch Weeds. I agree that their television is great and documentaries, but movies are awful

I was able to watch all season of How I Met Your Mother which made it all worth it. Great show. Now I dont know what to watch and I am angry with how slowly they add new seasons of shows.

You mean your wife doesn't have you watching Bunheads? Kelly and I were over here cracking up. That show sucked.

Hahaha yeah it was brutal. I watched the mermaid show and it was soooo silly and over dramatic.

I have seen it a few times in the guide and just never watched it

Its quirky I suppose kinda like Fargo but its well done. Here is a brief synopsis:

Unlucky Bernie Lootz (William H. Macy) has little going for him: He lives in a dreary studio apartment in a rundown motel on the Las Vegas Strip, he's indebted to Shangri-La casino boss Shelly Kaplow (Alec Baldwin), who years earlier cured him of a gambling habit by destroying his kneecap, and he can't recall the last time he had physical contact with a woman. His success as a "cooler" is jeopardized when cocktail waitress Natalie Belisario (Maria Bello) seemingly takes an interest in him, and his luck — and that of those around him — takes a turn for the better. What Bernie doesn't know is that Shelly has paid the woman to seduce him into staying in town. What Shelly doesn't know is that Natalie actually has fallen in love with Bernie, and vice versa. Additional complications arise when Shelly, an old-timer who resents the Disneyfication of Vegas, resists the efforts of new Shangri-La advisers, including Ivy League graduate and condescending upstart Larry Sokolov (Ron Livingston), to update the property and bring it into the 21st century.
