I'm just hoping for fast green. I know the course will be in tip top shape.

yeah man, I'd really enjoy that. We will have to have a golf trip of sorts in 2013. I know JB did a golf trip to this area.

Have fun Freddie! Maybe some live round posts are in the cards for this one? I loved following along while you played Sawgrass.

We had our work golf tournament there a few months back. Played both courses. Enjoy.

I have lived out here for so long and have yet to check out the courses in Palm Springs. Need to put that on my things to do list!!!

Dang Freddie you play some fantastic courses dude , I'm jealous .

Hope it's a great trip for you! I'm looking forward to seeing/hearing about it.

The Players Course at Indian Wells in arguably one of the nicest golf courses I have ever played. The club house is not your Grandfathers clubhouse. I looks like a space ship landed on in the desert and spit out this amazing 36 hole facility. Much to my surprise there is a Callaway Performance Center attached. Nothing new to see but I did have a great conversation with the fitting pro.

#1 par 5 dog leg right slightly downhill. Aim at the left bunker and play a nice fade.

#2 is one of the four strong Par 3s on the course. All but #17 played 180 plus.

#3 is a short par4 gaurded by the large tree on the left and a huge deep bunker behind it. A high cut is the play if you want a shot at eagle.

Hole 4 is longish par4 that requires a good tee ball down the left faded back into the fairway. You'll be left with short or mid iron left.

This is view back from the green on Hole 5

Hole 5 is a dogleg right par4 with a blind tee shot. Play to the top of the hill near the bunker to avoid the huge waste area on the right. A short iron approach will be your second.

Hole 6 is a sharp dogleg left par4 that requires pinpoint drives to attack the smallish green. Its 273 to carry the water on the left.

those pictures are awesome Freddie.

Awesome pics and info Freddie. This course looks like a dream come true for me!

Hole 7 is a par 5 with a huge bunker on the left and three that must be carried to get at the narrow green.

Hole 8 is great elevated green par3 with huge bukers fronting the right front.

Hole 9 is long par 5. you want to favor the right side of the fairway to have an angle at the green. A pinpoint layup is needed to attack the green. Water runs down the left side from 260 into the green. Huge bunkers protect the right side of the fairway approach.

Hole 10 is a unique par 4 with a huge fairway bunker that requires a 270 tee ball to carry or a 240 yard layup. There is left green side bunker that isn't too much trouble but the tee ball will dictate the rest of the hole.

47DA9A0B-3BB0-4963-B91E-777E156836EB-5428-00000471208052C2.jpg

Hole 11 is a short par 4 that requires a pinpoint tee shot. Driver is not needed as there is water left, right and right short of the green. Hit in the fairway, on the green and roll two good putts.

D89088D4-F33C-44B7-8363-B34548EAF088-5428-000004712F9BE0AF.jpg

Hole 12 is a sneaky par 3 with a semi false front and bunker protection on the entire left handside. the tee box gives you the right side. if the pin is back you have to challenge the traps or play a going draw.

amazing pictures there, what a track. thanks for sharing!!
