Baby Avie is here

Well my wife and I are please to announce that our first child Avie has arrived. She gave us a scare when she showed up early Thursday morning........ 3 weeks early! But she weighed in at 6lbs/12oz and 19in long. Both her and mom are dong fine this morning and we should be able to go home tomorrow morning. She is only a day old and I am wrapped around her little fingers. After seeing the entire birthing process I know my wife is tougher than I am. BTW when we got to the hospital we were not sure what was going on and mom was already 9 cm dilated. The entire process lasted just over an hour but it was the most intense hour of my life.
