Tell me about it. He looked good for a month, then consistently giving up 2 runs over 30 pitches.

12 earned runs
ERA north of 18.
On pace for career highs in ERA and blown saves by a long shot.

Brutal! I know how it feels after watching Papelbon get knocked around in his final season with the Sox. Especially when it wasn't a save situation.

Giants Win again sweeping the mets
 
2nd place now PhillyV and 4 teams now in the division with 31+ wins
 
I have been in 1st all but one week. That will change today as VA Vince pulls out in front. Need some offensive shake ups. Can't get any better pitching wise with a 1.89 era but only 2 wins

Cardinals win again. 19 straight scoreless innings for the staff and take 2/3 from the blue jays
 
I don't know why I continue to torture myself watching Rays games. 8 scoreless innings thrown, followed by 5 runs given up in the 9th. Wouldn't have mattered if it was only 1 run since they got shutout.

Just a pathetic team.
 
Interesting stat

Giants have best record in baseball, A's 2nd-best. But the A's have played 46 games vs. above-.500 teams, the Giants just 27.
