Yahoo's Top 10 Golf Courses For Dad

Yahoo came up with a list of their top 10 golf destinations for Father's Day. Thought it would be cool to see who's played where (or maybe just been there), and if there's any cool stories to go along with where you've played/been. Or any courses you would add, and which you'd remove to put them in?

Been to 0 myself. Whistling Straits isn't too far. Maybe a trip there for the PGA Championship next year.

Shoal Creek wouldn't even be In my top 3 in KC. It was in rough shape when I played it last

Yeah 0fer for me too. I mean, Shoal Creek and Wade Hampton are pretty exclusive. Why not add Sand Hills to the list as well? Never heard of Top of the Rock.

I'm lucky enough to have played the Sawgrass Stadium Course twice. It's fun but also frustrating for an 18 handicapper.

I guess I've played Branson Creek aka Buffalo Ridge. I still fail to see how that course was anything THAT fantastic. Maybe its being redone. Maybe they put a clubhouse where the trailer-clubhouse used to be. It was a nice layout, but needed turf work in the fairways to compete with other courses in the Branson area.

I do want to get to Harbor Shores. It's only a couple hours from where I live. Whistling is the only one I"ve played.

Of that list, I've just played Pebble Beach. I've been lucky enough to have played a lot of other great courses, however.
