It literally pained me not to go for it on this. I've dreamed of participating in the MC since I joined this site almost a year and a half ago. Attending the Vegas event last fall only reinforced that desire. I wanted so badly to throw my name in the hopper for this. I'm a huge Cleveland/Srixon fan, so that just made it even more tempting. Alas, financial commitments already made this summer (joining a CC being a huge one) just made the timing bad for me and it would have put some strain on the family to get things together so quickly. My wife actually wanted me to go for it anyway, but I couldn't in good conscience potentially take the chance away from another THPer who would probably be better positioned than me at the moment. I'll tell you one thing, though. The amount of energy and thought I put into this decision for the past few days has me very resolute in feeling that I absolutely HAVE to do everything possible to get into the MC next year.
