Long couple of days and I haven't got much THP time. Always feel so outta the loop when those days happen. Sitting here trying to catch up

Welcome to parenthood :act-up:

Stupid handicap system!!! Shot a 84 today but which is my best round of the year and the darn handicap goes over 18. Gotta get a tougher course next time.

Haha..for awhile she thought I was kidding..but the more i talked about it, the more serious she relized I was. I think it would be a fun little side hustle. Just make them in small numbers when time is available. Figured we would make driver, fairways, hybrid, and blade style putter covers.

Put me in for all of the above Bro!

We need to get together and play some time

THP is awesome! Filled with awesome people... Fact!

Also HHJJ!

My entire propeller plane this morning is filled with X Games guys from the Dew Tour Event. Chatting golf with them now at 5:30 am. It's pretty funny.

Sorry about not being able to welcome you to Maryland this weekend JB. But glad many other DMV guys made it out

Definitely looking looking forward to seeing you in Palm Beach.

Saw a guy at a family BBQ yesterday who had a cast on his hand, he was chatting golf with a few people he was sitting with. I didn't get the chance to meet or talk to him, as I was busy playing lifeguard while my kids were in the pool.

I found out today form my mother in law, a retired OR nurse, that he had the cast on his hand because he was golfing and his driver shaft snapped and somehow recoiled and stabbed him in the hand. It severed a tendon, and he ended up being rushed up to Boston (we're about an hour south) to see a hand specialist to re-attach the tendon.

When I think about my shaft snapping a few weeks ago... WOW. I can't imagine if that had happened to me, especially since I was on a solo round and a bit away from the clubhouse!

I have a question and wasn't sure where to post.

I am pondering signing up for a USGA handicap (I have never had one before) at the course I'll be working at but went over a scenario in my head.

What happens when you hit a tee ball and you think it will be found easily and you drive up and can't find it? I know I have had it happen and I have always just dropped in the area. I know the whole stroke and distance thing comes into play so are you really supposed to go back to a crowded tee box (assuming it's a busy day) and tee off again?

Just not familiar with the whole situation so please forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I saw this happen a few times today in a tourney. If no stakes or white stakes, must return to the tee box and re-tee hitting 3.

Upgrade over the toenail clipping mouth breathers?

Is about time for that drive to the airport for a red eye back to Ohio. Yes!!!!

How about outside of a tournament? A casual round on the weekend with friends and course is crowded.

Well by the rules you should go back to the tee... I'm not going back to the tee expecialy a tee box with people waiting. I'm just going to take a drop and hit #3.

Ok that's what I thought, and this is not frowned upon while posting a score?

So is that like just hitting a provisional?
