Course Bucket List

I need to find a way to get onto Sand Hills in Nebraska.

Pacific NW courses are also on my bucket list. Good picks.

Is this the one that can stretch out to like 7800 yards?

Hideaway.

Hideaway.

Hideaway.

St. Andrews.

Shady Oaks.

Pebble.

Hideaway.

For me - semi realistic:

Bandon Dunes resort
Torrey Pines (August!! :D)
Pebble Beach
St Andrews
Royal Portrush
Royal County Down
Turnberry
Cape Kidnappers
Hideaway

Not so realistic:
Augusta
Cypress Point
Pine Valley
Sunningdale
Muirfield

There are others surely, but those are the first that come to mind.

Pebble, St. Andrews, Firestone (south), Muirfield and the only one that truly matters, AUGUSTA NATIONAL!!!

No. Don't think it plays longer than 7100 yards.

I think you're thinking of the Prairie Club (which is in the Sand Hills region), where one of the 18's plays close to 8000 yards. I'd like to play there too, but the reputation of Sand Hills is really why it's on my bucket list.

Those are all on my I wish list. If I could play 3 or 4 of those in my life I think I will have been pretty freaking lucky.

Agreed. Hopefully I'm fortunate enough to play a few at some point.

That is not a bucket list. It is a major course venue menu!!
Just become a pro golfer, you could play them all in one year!!

Good idea. Just need to shave 25-30 strokes off my game. Easy enough.

ST. Andrews is on my list too.

Pinehurst #2. When I feel able to play that course, will be the day "I've arrived" in a decent golf game kind of way (at least in my perception).

Ron and I talking about doing number 2 again next year, so #noexcuse now :p

Add this one to your list;

Black Jack's Crossing Golf course, it is worth it!

I don't have a definitive list yet, but I do try to pick off courses as opportunities present themselves. I did Kapalua Plantation last fall and Kiawah Ocean this Spring. Next up hopefully will be Bethpage Black this fall or next spring. I also want to get out on Farm Neck on Martha's Vineyard or Miacomet on Nantucket this summer/fall.

My one regret from the Hawaii trip in the fall was not trying to play Poipu Bay or Princeville. If I get back to Kauai, those will happen.

Cog Freaking Hill...And the journey begins today.

After seeing it from the previous two grandaddys of course the hide away. Those pictures looked like paintings.

Oak Hill East as well. That's a track I will get on. Been in love with that place since the first PGA Champ. I watched there.

My short list...

The Hideaway
St. Andrews
Bandon Group
Cypress Point
The Hideaway
Bethpage
Sahalee

Fallen Oak in Biloxi, Ms. Home of a Champions Tour event. Top rating from Golf Digest. Also, the entire RTJ golf trail.
