Bubba Watson Skipping The Players

I can only base things on a gut feeling from what I have seen and read and the guy just seems like a show plate. Sure he has game or he wouldn't still be out there, but I struggle with people who look for the camera as hard as he does. I hear everyone, the pour ADD kid with a new child, new 50,000 watch, new Dukes of Hazard car and hot athlete wife. We get to see them all plenty often.

Golfboys, youtube, twitter, this guy eats it up. Who else would buy THE most recognizable automobile in the USA and make sure everyone knows about it. I'll bet he is dying this weekend but he wouldn't have stood a chance at sawgrass.

So he bought General Lee. Big whoop. I saw one parked in a guys yard 10 blocks from my house 2 weeks ago. It's getting press for Bubba because he's famous.

Golf boys/YouTube, again big whoop. It's a goof that some buddies put together.

Twitter, big whoop. I have a twitter. I bet 75% of this board does too. It's marketing in 2012 for celebs and pro athletes.

If he was REALLY looking for the camera, wouldn't he be playing every week? He certainly wouldn't be sitting out this week.

Why don't we pick some real d-bags to focus in? Tiger still plays. Harrington is pretty dry, maybe we should pick on him a while?
