Still trying to decide which flight plan program I wanna go with entering them manually is awful.

I'm thinking pfpx but it's pricey....

There's a free one you can use that saves it for popular planes. Otherwise a lot of people use topcat I think it's called. Just program it in manually using data from flight aware.

Maybe it's because I have no idea what I'm doing but I really enjoy flying low hops in GAs than I do big jets

still setting up. I actually had to return those monitors .

One of them wouldn't even power up.

Further investigation revealed it was a common problem so I went and got some samsungs

Called in the big guns. Called a friend of the family who was an Air Force cargo pilot turned commercial pilot for 40 years .

Maybe he can help me get one of these jets off the ground .

I feel so stupid that I can't decipher these flight plans myself and program them into the fms/ mcdu but apparently I am. Missing something .

I'm just having a hell of a time turning a flight plan on paper and properly programming it into an fms.

I'm sure it's an interpretation problem on my part.

OK I've spent a fotune on this but I'm finally having fun. Signed up for PFPX and Navigraph and updated all my aicars and what a difference.

Also bought the PMDG 777-200 and F.

Have made flights from Maldives to Dubai and Now on San Fran to Denver.


This is a blast but damn its time consuming.
