Gotta hurt to be a Mets fan.
On the other hand the Jays have racked up this offseason. Wonder how the chemistry will be in 2013?

I bet the Jays are really good next year. And this trade doesn't bother me much. We suck anyways, so let's plan for the future rather than keep a 38 year old pitcher.

AL East is going to be STACKED next year. It's always a tough division but with the moves the Jays are making it's going to be absolutely brutal. Not a weak team in the division.

I Tend to agree minus the orioles. I think they come back to earth.. They completely defied all metrics in winning as many games as they did

Former player Ryan Freel, 36, found dead of an apparent suicide. What a shame.

Damn that's sad to hear. He had a season where it seemed like he was on Web gems every night. Believe it was with the Reds, one of those years Jr was injured

Everything I am reading says no one is going into the hall of fame this year. Its a shame, but steroids ruin reputations

Biggio got the highest percentage at 68.2% just ahead of Jack Morris at 67.7%. I dont think Biggio is a hall of famer to be honest.

For the first time since 1996, no players were elected to the Hall of Fame by baseball writers. A player needs at least 75 percent of the vote to gain election.

And we have it.. Zero guys elected. First time since 1996.

I can't believe nobody for elected to the HOF. Crazy.

At least they don't do what golf does and let in anyone who gets 50% if no one got enough votes.

Good thing it's not like the football HOF or there would be 4 new guys going in.

Biggio will get in, just not this year. Bagwell's number increased this year, I wouldn't be shocked to see him get in either.

There are a couple on that list I think will eventually get in; I would think Piazza will get in during the next few years for sure.

I'd think Mike Piazza should get in!

According to Bleacherreport Biggio is 6th Best 2B of All time, hard to keep that out of the Hall if you believe it

Biggio will get in for sure, pretty surprising he didn't get in this year with 3000 hits.

Whispers of steroid usage did him in according to ESPN

Both will get in, although I don't agree with most of what bleacher report releases.

Piazza was a power hitter in the steroid era, but this was also his first year on the ballot. Give him a couple years. Most don't get in on their first try

Some woman that writes for a paper in LA voted for Bernie Williams, Don Mattingly, Kenny Lofton, Craig Biggio, and SEAN GREEN!! She should have her ballet removed IMMEDIATELY.

Look at the list of 1st ballot hall of famers. He doesn't belong on this list IMO. He was a great player, and a hall of famer, but not on the same level as these guys

I think the talk of "first ballot" hall of famers is a bit silly. If they are good enough to get in after 3 years, why are they not good enough to get in immediately?

Its just how the writers operate man. First ballot is like a seperate award to the hall of fame itself. I don't neccesarily agree, but the BBWA sure seems to
