I have these irons on the way so I thought I'd start a review thread. In hand photos will be in about a week from now. Info from PXG.com below:

The world’s finest irons
PXG 0311 irons are the world’s sexiest, most forgiving golf clubs that launch higher, go farther, feel softer and have a sweet spot the size of Texas. The irons are made with the finest alloys and are manufactured using a costly, sophisticated process that only we would use.

LONGER DISTANCES WITH CONSISTENT RESULTS
The patented technology of an ultra-thin face coupled with a structural TPE material produces a more efficient energy transfer, resulting in higher ball speeds. Maximizing ball speed is of the utmost importance with regard to distance and distance control.

THE REVOLUTIONIZING COMPONENT
Thermo plastic elastomer, or TPE, material is injected into the center of an iron’s hollow body. TPE is a low-density material with vibration-dampening qualities that enhance the sound and feel of the iron.

WORLD'S THINNEST CLUB FACE
The ultra-thin face is formed from HT1770 high-strength steel. The weight saved by using a thin face allows more mass to be positioned in areas of the clubhead that help to optimize launch conditions and MOI (moment of inertia).

EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH MOI FOR BLADE-STYLE HEAD
By removing a significant amount of mass from the center of the club head through CNC milling and strategically repositioning it around the perimeter with tungsten weighting, the forgiveness of the PXG 0311 irons out-performs game-improvement irons.

MAXIMUM FORGIVENESS
High-density tungsten alloy weights — which create the irons' signature look — are positioned around the edges to provide extreme perimeter weighting and maximum forgiveness.

EXCEPTIONAL FEEL AT IMPACT
The body is forged from S25C soft carbon steel. Forged materials, having a tight grain structure, resonate differently than cast materials which adds to an outstanding impact experience.

OPTIMIZING LAUNCH CONDITIONS
By removing a significant amount of mass from the center of the club head through CNC milling and strategically repositioning it around the perimeter of the clubhead with tungsten weights, launch conditions have been fine-tuned to produce the longest, most effective ball flight for each loft.

PXG 0311T Irons
Limited availability tour class iron

Forged from the same materials as PXG 0311 irons, PXG 0311T irons have a slightly thinner top line and are more compact. They also have a narrower sole width and less offset. As a result, PXG 0311T irons launch lower and have slightly less spin creating a more penetrating ball flight.

The standard build specifications are being ignored in my set, but rather, they will be built to my gamer specs.
38" 5 iron (0.25" shorter than specified by oem) d4 swing weight, and a couple degrees flat. Shafts of choice are Matrix Program F15 95g x flex. I should have them in hand by about the 25th or 26th, just in time to take them to Vegas and play with a few THPers, so that they too may have a bit of feedback.

What a set. Can't wait to hear all about your experience with them and see some pics!

"The irons are made with the finest alloys and are manufactured using a costly, sophisticated process that only we would use."

Only Parsons would write that hahahaha

That's one heck of a pick up. Between these irons and the JGR driver I might just be playing out of your bag next week, to help with the testing of course

Wow. Can't believe you have a set coming. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Lol big shocker kang has irons coming lol.

Looking forward to ur thoughts buddy

If there was anyone to have a set of these here, it's Kang.

It will be fun to hear your thoughts on these, since I don't think I'll have a chance to swing them anyplace around here.

Really looking forward to this one, because very few people have actually hit the PXG equipment.

Also, would love if someone could fix the thread title to say 0311T instead of 0811T. Sorry, it's bugging me. Plus, it will help with the search function down the road.

Leave it to Kang haha awesome man. Interested to hear how they treat you.

Looking forward to this review. I'm not the target market for these clubs, but am excited nonetheless.

I call first dibs on them when Kang moves on :)

When I saw who started the thread I thought "of course you do".:D

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these.

Cannot freaking wait to see in hand photos and your thoughts. I am extremely excited to hear about them.

Looking forward to hearing how you like these, Kang. They sure are funky looking.

Impressive. Never expected even Kang to give these a shot a the bag. But I shouldn't have doubted it as a possibility.
Can't wait to hear your thoughts Kang.

I'm very interested in this one Kang, looking forward to your thoughts! Words can't describe how jealous I am you get to bang these around, I've been stunned by the looks since I saw them months ago, and still am. There's a set on ebay at 2k, still slightly out of my reach hahaha
