I hit it on all 14 (non-par 3) holes today. This thing is tough as nails. I
I already have 3 pages of notes, and my first take away is that everything is low and generating a lot of left spin. Not a hook, but where I like to start right and draw back in, this starts right and turns over to the left side of the fairway.
I am seriously struggling to get the ball more than 20ft off the ground with this shaft, and when it's low I'm not getting the kind of roll out that I'm used to with my Accra. I changed up my swing a few times to try to promote hitting with a higher launch angle, and that was like BOOOM! Holy moly did it fly! I was into a 20mph headwind, and I hit two consecutive drives of 270 yards - a distance which I would be jumping for joy if I could hit regularly in no wind. Unfortunately, changing my swing to get the ball on that trajectory isn't something I want to do, and it wasn't easy to replicate.
It feels incredibly stiff, especially in the mid section. I'm not really sure how to put that into words, but it almost feels as if the kick point is too high for me. And I am always playing mid to high kick shafts.
What I found most odd, today, is that anything off center went seemingly nowhere. I had the course to myself, so I played two balls on every hole (1 with new shaft and one with Accra) The Accra's misses were simply directional, whereas the PX misses were directional and serious distance loss.
Going to hit the range with it either tomorrow or thursday and put it in front of my SC200
