The club you won't give up

Right now, my Adams a12 #2 hybrid. I have been hitting it so well, and my driver so bad, I have played more conservatively off the tee and only grabbed the driver on Par 5's and wide open holes.

Cleveland xls hibore 9.0. 80%+ fairways hit. Can't hit it as long as a tailor-made, but I can hit it a whole lot straighter.

Got to be my Ben Sayers putter that I modified with an Exacto putt hhandle turning it into a belly putter.

My TaylorMade Bubble2- 2 Iron..... "Ole Rough and Ready" is my go to long club/driver. I can hit that club even when NOTHING else is working. It can get my confidence back virtually every time. Today my swing was coming apart like a cheap suit, but "Ole Rough and Ready" was the only club that I could hit and soon everything else was coming around.

Has to be my SeeMore mFGP putter, love it.

Not sure there is a club that I wont give up. I do know there are a ton of clubs I regret selling. I'm talking to you Orlimar! Right now in my bag, I know I will regret selling the Betti and the i20's. Both of those have a chance of staying with me a while. Of course I'm pretty excited about the Razr XF's and the 2ball I have coming lol

What is the pondering status of your bag?

What is the pondering status of your bag?

Virtually all of us are genetically inclined toward being equipment pondering ho's. This got me to thinking, are there clubs in your bag that you are so happy with you don't ponder changing them at all? I'll start:

Driver - No real pondering. I need to work on my swing, not buy new gear.
3W - No pondering, love my G20
Hybrids - No pondering, love my Razr X's
Irons - No real pondering. My S/GI clubs are older but they seem to suit me, I hit them pretty well
Putter - I probably don't know what I'm missing with high end putters but am reasonably contented with what I've got, so no pondering here either.

At the moment, my driver and putter. My driver I am looking to replace (7 years old), just need to find something to beat it. My putter is safe.

Merged with the Club you won't give up thread.

Just can't seem to get rid of my Adams 5 wood. Replaced the irons, replaced the putter, 3 wood is being replaced, and I update the driver every 2 years. But for the life of me, I can't find any reason to part with my old tight lies GT.

Right now it's my 910D2, this thing is a guaranteed fairway finder as long as I don't have a huge brain fart!!!

It has to be my putter right now. It isn't the best brand but man do I love the way it rolls and I have tried some others and just don't come close. I know soon that I will find another on that I will have to buy and give a try.

I use my woods from my $100 complete beginner set from high school. Can't bring myself to looking at new ones. They hit the ball far and straight so I don't want to jinx myself!

No one is safe from my fits of ho'ing!

I just replaced all my clubs except for my putter. I've had my putter for years (PING Anser 2), and I see no need to replace it. Most of the time it does fine -- any problems I have with it are the indian, not the arrow.

R9 460 has been tough to knock out of the bag. Still in there going strong, just love the head.

Honestly, nothing. I am a hoarder though and like to bring things back into play from time to time. There's always something new coming along.

I do hang on to irons and wedges much longer than other things it seems. I had my last set for almost a year, which is a long time in my world.

Id say my backstryke 2 ball putter.

I am absolutely loving my SeeMore MFPG2 that I won at the 2012 outing, 27 putts today. Lots of up and downs and a few nice long putts made. It will be in the bag a long time.

The ole trusty foot wedge will forever be in play. I kid, actually it would have to be my ping putter I got in high school. Love to hit it on the putting green in the basement but dont game it anymore

My old Big Bertha 460 doesn't want to go away. It keeps outperforming my newer drivers.

My ping 1-a putter love that thing I bought it in elementry after saving my allowance - $10 bucks a month and the putter was $65 bucks.

It'd better be! That thing is a work of art! I love the mFGP2, frames the ball so easily and well.

5 hybrid and PW. My ping k15 hybrids are Stupid easy to hit. I love them.

I have a Love/Hate relationship with my Pitching Wedge. Struggled this year with the dreaded "Chili Peppers", but I normally love my PW. My Pitching wedge is a 'Work Horse". I love chipping and pitching with it.

P.S. Unfortunately, pulling my PW automatically includes Pre-Shot thoughts of "Lee Janzen" this year....
