I work 12 hour nights (which is not a HHJJ) but every night my wife packs my lunch and in it writes a note for me on my napkin. Such a little thing that makes my whole night. Gotta appreciate the small things in life, just as much the big ones

I worked 12 hour night shifts for 3 years when I started at the mill. It does help when you have the support of the loved ones at home. Keep pluggin away at it and you'll earn your way towards day shift before you know it

HHJJ of the day is Hilton depositing 100,000 points in my account for being a Diamond member again.

Looks like we know who is taking care of the hotel in KY if we get in

After almost an hour and only halfway done clearing the driveway my neighbor came with his plow and cleared the rest. Wouldn't even take any $. That 3' of packed snow at the end of the driveway from the snow plow would have been a nightmare too.

Snow plow pile turned to ice today and I managed to jack up my wrist big time shoveling it tonight

Lol I was thinking the same thing

100k gets u a half of a night in Hawaii. They will escort you out of your room in the middle of the night

Ya. Merry Christmas
Oh at Christmas time 100k doesn't get u in the door. It will however get you a fake mugging like allenby

Just watched the trailer to the new Game of Thrones season.

Oh, my. (Also reminds me that I need to get back to the books)

Incredibly lame HHJJ, but I'll take what I can get.

Does that include the $1,000 Amex gift card?

Really happy not to hear about any deaths related to our snowstorm yesterday. Didn't even see one car in the ditch on my way to work this morning. 15+ inches usually brings a rash of bad news stories. Here's to everyone staying safe :)

Sadly thanks to their devalue, thats like 1.5 nights at a nice place or 3 nights at a Hampton. Man I miss the days where that would get you like 7-10 nights. This is the first year in a while where we let our Diamond status go and went back to Gold.

I have an amazing husband. He has been so comforting and compassionate with me as I mourn Duke. I am taking this really hard, I mean REALLY hard. I dedicated this past year to caring for him. I stopped traveling, barely left the house and focused all my attention on him. I took him to every vet appointment, gave him meds 3 times a day, baked him homemade treats, food and snacks based on his new dietary needs and basically did whatever it took to make the last year of his life as happy and comfortable as possible. He became my life and now that he is gone I am so lost. But JB has been by my side, cheering me up and also letting me cry.

He took me out of town for a few days because I couldn't be at home, I saw Duke everywhere. I still see him every time I close my eyes, but I know we did the right thing. Anyhow, the HHJJ is just that I have an incredible husband who has been my rock as I go through the hardest experience of my adult life. I have honestly not cried this much, or felt this sad since the loss of my grandmother. However, I feel so blessed to have such a great person by my side.

Hang in there Morgan and way to go JB!

You were a great mother to him. I know some don't understand it, because he is a dog, but he was special needs. He took over 20 pills a day (no exageration), he needed homemade peanut butter for each one (no salt). He ate a special diet. He wore a diaper and needed to go out in addition to that 4-5 times a day. He couldnt be left at home for more than 15 minutes, because of his anxiety, he passed out a lot, fell down a lot and needed round the clock care and you provided that.

You made his life amazing for the years he was with us and his peace is now our peace.

Hope the wrist feels better. Sometimes I'd rather the plow didn't even come down my street and just deal with the snow in the road than what they leave at the end of the driveway.

Yeah the best is when they come down right as you are finishing up

It's sad to see reward structures become so diluted...hardly any value left in them.

Watching Big Break at PGA National really reminds me how many great golf courses I've been able to play via THP events.

Crazy to think about that isn't it? THP events have been on some ridiculous courses.
