The Dormie club, incredible course that's tough as hell lol.

Played 16 holes at Surrey golf course and shot 88. The ground was frozen therefore we could not tee up ! Add 6 temporary greens and frost across the course and yeah... It was tough! It dropped to 32 degrees F by the end...

However, coming from Montreal, it was great to play golf at the end of November.

43/48 on my home course yesterday. really booming the driver for a change. when I wasn't hitting fairways, I was in the 1st cut of rough. irons were so-so, but I hit 6 GIRs anyway. totally hosed my wedge game. thinning and chili-dippin all day. I probably carded 4-5 strokes due to crappy wedge play.
putting started out pretty well and fell apart at the turn. one 3-putt on the front 9 and four on the back 9. ouch!

39/36 with two birds, 5 dumb bogies and the rest pars. Windy season has hit central Florida. Gotta capitalize on the down wind holes.

38 - 37 - 75. It wasn't pretty in regards to ball striking, but the short game was on fire and left me with numerous sub 3 foot par putts. 3 birdies and 6 bogeys.

Had a great round today. Was nice that there were maybe 6 people on the course. So was in no rush what so ever. And it showed
Took a penalty on 8 for OB. And on 9 for lost ball. Other than that great round and a PB

36-39 for a +5 75 at Arizona Traditions in Surprise, AZ.

39 - 36 - 75. 3 birdies and 1 double. Driver was pretty wild right to left most of the day but iron play was solid. Probably didn't hit but a few fairways but only missed a handful of greens.

41/39 for an 80, 37 putts lol. 2016 is going to be the year of the putting lessons.

50-49 for 99 (ESC 97) on Friday w/PGG

It didn't feel like it was that bad, but I made some unconfident strokes on the greens which drove the number up. I was even on the par 3s!

48/44 for a 92. Nothing higher than double bogey. A heck of a better round than Tuesday. Got some more work to do but the swing adjustment is working.

After yesterdays disappointing 81 in competition, where only 2 of us in the senior division 0-12 (12players) shot in the 80's, i rang a mate and asked if he wanted a hit today. What better way to get over than go out for more punishment.
After being +4 after 5 holes i chipped in on 6 for eagle and then birdied 9 to be even 36 after the first nine holes. Three bogies and 1 birdie on the back 9 had me finish with a +2 38 for a +2 74. Way to drop 7 shots when not playing for any thing haha.
It was really enjoyable like the round last week where my mate and I just chat the whole round and not really care about the golf and end up with a good score, he even said to me on the 12th after putting my wedge shot to about 4 foot "I think you are to relaxed today haha".

Shot 79(+8) this morning. Finally made some improvements in my swing and found the fairway and GIR again.

Sounds like you found that swing that had gone awol. Nice round.

39-41 for an 80 today. Cold (40*) but sunny with a two club wind so happy with the round.

79% FIR but only 39% GIR (wind made approaches pretty tough) 32 putts. Scrambled pretty well - one sand save out of deep bunker and then made the 10' putt.

Shot an 84 today but was feeling really, really solid with my ball striking today, and my putter.

My lower back was hurting, and my swing was really tentative for the first 5-6 holes. I was afraid I was going to mess it up really bad. Once it warmed up, and I felt confident with it, I played much better.

I almost cancelled my round this am for the first time ever...but then figured I try and go out and play, clubbing way up.

On the range before the session, I was barely hitting my 3-iron 150 yards with roll out. Normally that would be my 220-225 yard club.

I saw my golf future today on the range!
But hopefully, that future isn't for another 20-30 years

got beat up by maderas in SD. five 3 putts for an 86.

Went back to Black Mesa today (sunny day / 50* / wind 7-10 mph) and in a fit of craziness decided to play the tips (the views from some of them are out of this world).

Shot 38/41 for a 79 (8 bogeys / 1 birdie) which felt like an accomplishment. 86% FIR was a big plus but with the extra distance I was only 33% GIR (although most of my misses were greenside). Putting bailed me out - only needed 30 putts (practicing hitting putts into a sleeve from 5' makes the hole seem huge).

Played a quick 9 after work today, shot -1 for a 35. Days like this I wish it didn't get dark so early!

38 from the tips at Painted Dunes in El Paso, TX. I am on a business trip, and my supplier and I decided to squeeze in 9 holes yesterday before it got dark (at 5:30pm). We both rented clubs and played 9. It was my first time playing on a true desert style course in Texas and I loved it.

Yesterday's round was 83 (42, 41), Putting was really erratic. I had 34 putts, including four 3-putts, but also six 1-putts. It's kind of exasperating.

Good to see you getting out.
And, fwiw, it is better than snow.

51/47. Not bad for not swinging a club for about a month. Get to tee it up again tomorrow. Can't believe two days in a row!

Played today, only 36 degrees so the ball wasn't flying that far. Managed to play pretty decent. Shot 42/43 and hit my driver well for the first time in about 2 months. Scratch some poor contact on 2 par 5's and I could have been easily 3-4 strokes better. Putting and wedge game were solid. Looking to get out again tomorrow it should be close to 50 degrees!
