Opinions: What is the best hybrid shaft?

I'm looking to put an after market shaft on my I20 hybrid soon. I've never really looked into shafts for hybrids which means I don't know much about them. I'm looking for something graphite with mid-mid/high launch, stiff or x flex, a little lighter. What are some that you guys have and enjoy? Does Miyazaki make hybo shafts or do they just stick to driver/FW? Any info or suggestions will be appreciated. And before anyone says, "go and get fitted", I know that's the right answer but I can find anywhere to be fitted. I'm just looking for suggestions so I have somewhere to start my reviewing. Thanks guys

Miyazaki makes a great hybrid shaft in the C.Kua.

Yep, Miyazaki makes a very good hybrid shaft. You could try to hit a Mashie hybrid if you'd like to see what they are like. The 59 is much lighter than the shaft in the i20 though. They do make an 83g version as well.

    Others I've liked:

Me and a few guys have been discussing shafts this morning in the AMP Cell Hybrid thread. The VTS Silver seems to be a really popular choice. I gamed one in my Adams a12 and loved it. I am looking for something that launches a touch higher, which is why I am going to check out the Fubuki AX hybrid this coming year. The ProForce VTS Silver sounds like it might fit the mold of what you are looking for and it's available as an upgrade option for quite a few manufacturers, though I am not sure about Ping.

I'm partial to the Matrix Ozik Altus hybrid shaft, but I haven't hit a ton of hybrid shafts. I have also played the Miyazaki C.Kua 83 hybrid shaft, I just prefer the feel of the Matrix shaft a little more.

I game the VTS Silver and thought it performed very well in my Bridgestone J40. Will be on the short list for sure this year in the Amp Cell.

Miyazaki C. Kua for me hands down. I have about all the ones mentioned in this thread so far. However when it comes to my own hybrids, I keep reshafting them with the C. Kua. Stable, great feel, just perfect for me.

I haven't tested nearly as many hybrid shafts as I have driver shafts, but my 2 favorites are the Matrix Altus and Aldila VS Proto.

I like the VTS Silver for my game. The C Kua works well for me as well.

I'm torn between making it my 3 iron, blending in with the rest of my C-Tapers. In that case I'd buy a heavier shaft. Or make it a FW, blending in with my Fubuki AX, which in that case would be light. What do you guys think?

I've never put an after market shaft on my hybrids but the stock Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara on my Adams V3's are a perfect balance of weight, stiffness & kickpoint. I also liked the Aldila Voodoo SVR6 I had on my Nike VR's

Stiffer and lighter don't usually go together I believe. I have the Grafolloy Pro-launch red in X-stiff in my 2 hy and I love it. I can control trajectory fairly well with it and wasn't too expensive. I believe it was about $40 for the shaft.

When it comes to hybrids that come with quality aftermarket shafts, I don't think anyone does a better job than Cleveland and Adams. If you want to try the C Kua, get ahold of a Mashie, if you want to try the VTS Silver, get ahold of an A12. Odds are pretty good you could find those clubs/shafts on the cheap and do some testing. Perhaps do a little shaft swapping.
