Damn. Bummed, was hoping this could be an anniversary trip. Happy for all that made it, enjoy!

Josh, I'm sure people understand, especially if they've ever priced hotel/golf packages, etc. I always go into something figuring most of the stuff won, given or entered is pretty much a bonus.

Im not sure why its tearing me up so much that everybody didnt get in, but hopefully this straight from the heart response helps. When GG came up with this idea I loved it. We knew the last event was going to be great and went way overbudget, but knew it was perfect and everybody seemed to have a great time.

This year we wanted to up the ante, so added Cobra into the mix for a great trip and they are really going to help us make this a unique and one of a kind event. We moved to a golf course that is truly stunning and a hotel that is equally as impressive as last years. By making these moves, this event actually costs significantly more than the $499 (like well over $100 more per person) that we are charging. Im not saying this out of trying to play the martyr card in anyway, just want to make sure people understand its not a "well they could open it up" kind of thing.

Then add that partnering with Cobra Puma, they really wanted an intimate type of setting where they can get to know everybody in attendance and it setup for a limit that we knew would work. We strive to make these events as incredible as possible and this one is no different. Its not always the best business decision to spend more than you charge, but every event is different and we believe that someone spending their hard earned money to come to one, deserves something special.

Anyway, just wanted to share a bit of transparency in why it is capped and why we cannot increase the number of THPers. We are thrilled that there is so much interest and promise that we have a slew of THP Events left this year that are truly incredible as well. Thanks again and if you did not get in, you are automatically on the Wait List should someone not be able to attend.

Thanks everybody.

You and Golfer Gal are awesome. You didn't have to explain anything to us fellow THPers, but we appreciate the transparency.

Moving forward, how do I sign-up for Love Is In the Air 2016??? I don't care where or when. Me and wife are there!!!

What a solid group of THPers headed to a weekend of awesomeness! Some familiar faces on that list but plenty I haven't met yet. Can't wait!

Very happy to get in. Jamie will be happy too. I sent her the link and told her we got in. Her response is "Cool. I'm gonna look like Rickie Fowler!" He's one of about 2 golfers she could identify in a lineup, because he signed her friend's baby's head in a commercial.
"I'll take things I wasn't expecting to read in that post for $1,000 Alex...."

Cracked me up anyway.

That is a FUN group, congrats all! I'm jealous as heck that the Doc and I couldn't even try!

I need new lucky boxers...

Congrats guys!

I totally get how you feel, as I'm sure everyone else does. There's always a tough choice to make and there is no way you can make everyone happy, it's just not possible. Suffice to say we know you put a lot of hard work into organizing ALL events and we greatly appreciate all the work you & morgan & staffers do :clapp::clapp: . You have created events that people love, that alone should make you proud. My hat is off to you, take a bow.

Jim..

ok work has got in my way of entering again today. I try to schedule appointments around the entry time and of course they show up 30 minutes early. Hopefully the wait list will come thru for me. ARGH! Told Terra the news that I missed the signups and she was not happy.

Congrats everyone!

Thanks for this note brother, much appreciated and I look forward to meeting you soon.

Not even gonna lie: We are pretty disappointed, but with that said the disappointment is not with anyone. It was well known that it was limited field and a hot ticket. And since we were lucky enough to get in last year it just means we knew what a great event this one is going to be so it made us want into it even more. I hope that those, like us, that didn't get in will not take it personally. My hopes were a bit higher as this was probably the only event I could do this year with the pending changes in my job that are coming up. I know that JB, Morgan, and Mike as well as the Cobra / Puma folks are gonna put on one heck of a great event. Who wouldn't be a little bummed to miss a great time?!?!? I hope that everyone enjoys it as much as we did. It is gonna be a blast.

Congrats to those who got in! I really wanted to be a part of this, but it turns out that is the same time frame my son, Smallball, graduates from school. Next year I WILL enter!

Who are the other first time THP event-ers?

we will be! we're celebrating our 10-year this june. my wife doesn't really play golf, but she's a professional lounge-by-the-pool-drinking-mixed-adult-beverages kinda gal.

i'm really excited about this!

WOW the wait list is long...

Woohoo! Well Erik started giving me putting lessons today in preparation........ now let's hope both of us make it to the event alive! Ha ha

Congrats to the lucky 20 couples! You're in for a real treat, I'm sure.

I'm sure most of us here can appreciate all of the time and effort that must go in to pulling off an event like this. The fact that you could do this for 20 couples is pretty amazing in my book.

You sure you want to take them from Erik? Surely you have other options up there

Last year we learned that divorce attorneys at the turn would probably be a good idea.
