Jim Furyk is known as a guy that tinkers with his equipment a little bit. Well, the tinkering is about to begin a little more. THP has learned that Jim Furyk has signed a deal with TaylorMade Golf for the 2011 golf season.
The complete details of the deal are not known as of yet, but what we do know is that he will definitely be playing the TaylorMade Penta golf ball. The deal will revolve around the driver and the golf ball and possibly include a hat or bag. As of right now, he will continue with his Srixon irons. More details as we get them.

THP Forum – Jim Furyk to TaylorMade
Very very interesting! Did any of you see this coming? I certainly didn’t. Maybe I should have been paying more attention. To me, that says a lot about the Penta regardless of money.
interesting, I mean he was already using a Taylormade Driver.
Shocked by this news.
Doesn’t he already wear adidas apparel and shoes? The switch to TM gear isn’t a big one by those standards IMO.
This comes as a huge surprise, but I can’t say that it doesn’t make sense I guess.
I knew he had hit TM Drivers recently. So, I’m not that suprised!
Interesting considering the season he just had.
I always thought of Taylormade as a younger brand. Shocked to see Furyk go to them. Who doesn’t love their drivers, but I love their Penta TP ball & maybe now that the FedEX champ and Player of the Year is playing them they will get more attention.
Jim will be wearing Hawke & Co apparel as he has been for the past 3 years.
