The Limited Workbench Edel Putters are back. Last month we featured the story of the fitting experience with Edel Golf. What separates it from a number of others is the attention to detail that goes into the entire process. That continues with this relaunch.
Made in the USA at the Edel Machine Shop in Liberty Hill, TX, this first drop is a special one.
The Edel 24K Dream is unlike anything the brand has done before. It starts with the 24K gold plated silver grill that is placed in the back cavity of the 642 head. The head features their fluted over-the-post, L Shaped hosel, and sleek lines of this style. The gold itself shines off the Midnight Electric Blue PVD finish that is reminiscent of a collectible car you would see in a showroom.
“We have so many talented and creative folks on the team here” said Chris Koske, VP of Sales and Marketing at Edel Golf. “I’ve been in the industry a long time, but to see a company where just about every single employee is a club builder and product nut is so rare. We’re going to be making some really special products going forward.”
Everything, including the grip, was chosen to complete the look, and they chose a blue suede stitch back leather grip from Best Grips to match the blue suede head cover embossed with their logo.
How limited? Only 15 of these will ever be made and it comes with a price tag of $999.
For the spec hounds out there, the Edel 24K Dream has a lie angle of 70 degrees with 3 degrees of loft. The head weight is right at 345 grams.
