Puma Golf has stayed busy throughout the first half of 2022. Earlier this year, they brought us the huge forum favorite in the ProAdapt AlphaCat golf shoes and today are getting ready to deliver on the new Ignite Articulate.

The Ignite Articulate is their latest in cleated innovation with an all-new design that features an articulating outsole, midsole and upper that actually flexes with your foot. Flexible and traction combined. This is where the Ignite Articulate steps in and delivers with a modern athletic silhouette that is designed to offer performance without any sacrifice in comfort.
ENGINEERED ARTICULATION – Strategically engineered grooves in the outsole, midsole, and upper, allow the shoe to flex with your foot, while delivering the highest level of support.
8-CLEAT TRACTION PATTERN – A redesigned traction pattern features eight strategically place Tornado cleats in high-force areas provides increased traction.

ARTICULATING PWRCAGE – A strong and lightweight saddle that is thinner across the midfoot allows the cage to wrap securely around any foot shape delivering support and stability throughout the swing. Also, the cage has a slight increase in thickness around the lacing to provide extra lock-down support.
EXOShell – Upper material with engineered mesh to provide structure fused underneath TPU Film that provides support and a 1-year waterproof warranty
IGNITE FOAM – Revolutionary and proprietary midsole foam provides energy return, responsive ride, and superior step-in comfort.
VERSATILE PERFORMANCE LAST – A new last shape delivers excellent fit, unrivaled comfort and a stylish toe-down look.

The Puma Golf Ignite Articulate golf shoes drop with Men’s laced and Men’s disc along with five different colorways. Wide options are also available in the lace version and sizes range from 7-15. Cost will be $170 and available beginning today both at retail stores like BudgetGolf.com or Pumagolf.com.

Oh the waterproofing is an absolute must for me. Even in the ‘summer’ here the ground can be quite wet so if the shoes aren’t waterproof then I’m miserable in about 10 mins.
Yep, I can relate. My home course has three ponds and a creek flowing through so one of my pre-requisites for an everyday shoe is waterproofing.
Really dig the white/grey colorway. Have been cleatless for several years and doubt I go back but if I did these would be way up at the top of the list.
Puma have been my go-to shoe for a long time now, and these just as I’m thinking I need a new pair of spiked shoes are right up my alley, especially the lighter grey colorway.
Not loud enough for my tastes…….
I love their shoes. They look better than the non-golf Puma offerings. The thicker midsole looks comfy. Sold on their Disc lacing. Every color is money.
Looking at @JB video there…are they the same material as the Alphacats?

I dont have them side by side right this second, but they appear to be. Same comfort level too so far. I will get them out on the course next week for some walking.
I went shoe shopping yesterday to replace some old Puma’s i had. This is the best looking shoe out in my opinion in the white and silver. I tried them on and will need to wait till the wide’s are available.
I’m loving all of this and have several pumas that may or may not need replacing!
Puma just keeps hitting HRs with their shoes. I need more
These look really good. I like how the foam on the outer edge rises up higher than most, gives it a super athletic look.
After trying on multiple different pairs in prep for the MC you really can’t go wrong with Puma shoes.

i’m definitely digging these. not loving the price tag, but might still get some.

Totally agree on price. I feel like golf shoe pricing has sky rocketed recently. Gonna be $200 soon enough.
White with silver are ordered!
Not bad. Not excellent either. Solidly safe.
Buying Deltas earlier this year takes these out of consideration for me. They do look good and I know they’ll be comfortable.
My new Puma’s arrived today. A much better fit in the wide. I really do l like how these look. I think they are much easier to get into than the previous caged model and they are super comfortable. I am going to try and break them in tomorrow afternoon.

I played my first round with these today and have some thoughts on them. These are so much easier to get into than my other caged Puma’s. The toe box does not crease like the older model also. They are very comfortable and no pain or discomfort. I really like the laces that they use they stay tight. I thought they were very stable when swinging and would not hesitate to walk a round in them. I think Puma made a huge improvement in the new model!
Took these out for a spin this weekend and they are so comfortable right out of the box. No issues with toe box or heels like I’ve had in the past in other Puma’s. Feel the spikes provide enough grip to keep you connected to the ground. These could become my new gamers!
Just got the AlphaCats and they feel great. May have to get a pair of these for the winter.
I tried these on today…wow are they comfortable. I think they’ll be my next pair of golf shoes. Just wish their colors were almost all the same across their shoe lines. I like the Delta color options but like the Articulate feel
These are the shoes we received at the Morgan Cup in the BOA version. Have to admit I thought these were super comfortable, plenty of traction and look great.

They looked really comfortable. I don’t know how light they were but they looked very light.

They weren’t heavy at all. I really enjoyed them.
These are really comfortable. Maybe a hair narrower than the AlphaCats but we’re fine after a few minutes of walking around. I really like that the spikes are really low profile so it would be no sweat switching back and forth between these and spikeless shoes like AlphaCat.
I own five pair of Puma golf shoes but I find that their styling is becoming repetitive. I do love how they play with color. They have done a great job in the golf space.
Fantastic shoe all around. First time with the BOA and I was a fan. Lightweight and comfortable. Great traction and looks are ?

I would agree with that. They were a little harder to get on than the AlphaCats but maybe that’s just because they need to get streched out a little. I currently have these, the Gray AlphaCats, the white, red and blue AlphaCats coming in, and the white Fasten8’s. I will be switching back and forth between them. I’m also looking at the ProAdapt Delta Spectra’s on the site.
Pretty sure these need to be a part of my life.

I was the opposite and though the Alphacats were a little more comfortable. These were close though.
So I’ve seen folks say how comfortable the Articulate and Alpha Cats are, but how do they compare to the Ignite Caged shoes? I have the Caged which are okay, but they aren’t my most comfortable shoes.

I had the original ignites and I thought the Alphacats were way better in terms of comfort
These look great!! Curious to see how they hold up, over time, given the added articulation. I’m gonna see if they can fit my feet which are a shade on the wider side… (4E) ?
One day this week, I’m buying new shoes for golf.
It has to happen.
Tried these on today. Way more comfortable than the Alphacats. These will be my next purchase.
Just ordered the white/gray color and looking forward to how these compare to the Caged. I chose this color mostly for versatility.

I know everyone is different but these just felt more comfortable to me in the toe area. I don’t have a wide foot and the Alphacats just feel so tight in that area, but these felt great.
I bought a pair of these standard width BOA and they were just a tad narrow. They do offer wide in the lace-up version that I will try eventually. I liked the look almost enough to just see if they stretched out but decided to return
Received these today. Compared to the Caged, the similarities are definitely that “wrapped” feeling around your foot, but that also means they take a little more effort to get on your feet. Not really a bad thing, but it’s true. The Articulate definitely looks less bulky and more waterproof. First impressions on comfort are okay. They’ll certainly be a good wear, but I wouldn’t say the cushion compares to the higher end Adidas shoes I have. Still, these will be a nice addition to my playing rotation.
I need to season to start soon so I can focus on actually playing rather than looking at golf stuff online.
I have a feeling these are going to be my go-to this year.
Very comfy, great presentation, and a little bit more of an upscale look from some of the other Puma models.
I am feeling both of these may have to happen.
