Stat tracking is a very important part of golf. How can you improve your game if you don’t know where your weaknesses lie? That’s where ScoreBand comes in. This is a lightweight device you wear on your wrist like a watch and use to track your stats.
About ScoreBand from the Company:
The one-touch scorekeeping wristband designed for any sport, lightweight and purpose-built for active wear.
Some Key Features:
- Water-resistant, eco-friendly silicons
- Infused with beneficial negative ion materials
- Slim design available in multiple sizes
- Black or White band with multiple face color options
ScoreBand’s most basic function is tracking each shot after you take it. It provides a running shot-counter for each hole you play. Now, when you encounter one of those long blow-up holes you don’t have to relive the horror by trying to remember how many shots you took. Instead, you can just click a button on your wrist after each shot. This is something I wish I had when I first started playing golf.
Pace of play is always a hot topic on the THP Forums. It’s something beginning golfers tend to struggle with because they are often taking more strokes. The ScoreBand essentially allows a golfer to use their ‘watch’ to keep their score, so if they are already at double par, they know it’s time to pick up and try again on the next hole.
Along with each shot, you can track your round on a hole-by-hole basis, as well as your putts, chips and greens in regulation (GIR).
The ScoreBand sits on your wrist just like a watch, and since it’s so lightweight, it’s easy to forget you are even wearing it. One of my biggest concerns was that it would be obstructive, but by the second hole I found that the ScoreBand was simply a handy stat-tracking device rather than a nuisance. It did take some getting used to since I normally don’t wear a watch on the golf course, but as mentioned, it only took a couple of holes.
Along with tracking your golf stats you can also use ScoreBand as a wrist watch. It also tracks the stats of other sports such a tennis and racquetball. A multipurpose device always gets bonus points at THP, and at a retail price of only $29.99, I found the ScoreBand to be a steal. That price point makes it a great gift idea for the golfer in your family, and because it comes in multiple face colors, it’s great for any age or gender. It comes in different sizes for a more precise fit and for the purpose of this review I wore a size small which fit me very well and I have fairly small wrists.

Great review Morgan, I do especially like the idea of a beginning golfer getting a ScorBand as quickly as they can so they can know when they should just regroup and try again on the next hole.
Nice review on this little device Morgan! I think that many golfers could benefit from this for the score keeper function alone, but of course that requires getting over the stigma of needing such a device. For $30 and everything else this offers besides just keeping your score, I think it’s very cool.
I think this could also be really neat for kids getting into the game, they like gadgets and this just might make their time on the course a little more enjoyable.
Nice review GG, lots of option in such a small devise. My only question is the Score band one size fits all?
Great review Morgan, I may check these out for myself. I am in need of a watch and I like the idea behind this one.
Thanks for the great review, GG. I could see being useful while walking. I think it would be cool if they combined it with a GPS.

No this is not a one size fits all, and thank you for asking that. I should have mentioned in the review (and will fix that shortly) the score band comes in different sizes for a more precise fit on the wrist. For the purpose of this review I got a small and it fit very well and I have pretty small wrists.
30 bucks and you also get stats? You really can’t lose on this one.
Nice review! Is it made of a special polymer or ingredients that help “calm” like a sabona or magnet???

It does say that it is infused with negative ion minerals.
Nice review GG ! I just can’t wear anything on my wrist while playing, but I did show this to my wife and she is very interested. Thanks!
Great review GolferGal! I like the idea of it being a multi use stat tracker for tennis and racquetball as well.
Nice review GG. I like this idea, but wonder how many people would use it. I do like the different color options that are available. Great job!
Great review Morgan! like how it comes in different sizes and colors, plus the functionality makes it a real winner!
Great review, GG! I’ve used a watch similar to this in the past for sports and what not, and think this is a great idea for some simple and easy to use stat tracking! Great price point as well!
This seems like a simple yet effective devise. Seems like it would be most useful when out walking. The price point is reasonable. Will be looking into these.
Very versatile little device, and a great price point. Thanks for the review, Morgan.
Sweet review! Not for me but definitely has a market. Well done!
Well done GG and think they hit the nail on the head for their target audience. Optional colors with variety, sizing, and simple to use at a nice price point. I think this will fit the bill for a lot of the market that is looking to replace the pencil and paper with a few perks!
I’ve never even heard of this. Is it easy to function for loading stats? Did you find that it may have wasted time out there for you or is it something you could utilize while walking to your ball/cart? My scorecard looks like an 8 year old’s art project b/c I keep stats on it. Thanks for the review.
Great review Morgan. This device is amazingly small for what it does.
I would never guessed that it would be able to track your stat’s for a round.
Great product.
Nice Job GG….not sure I could use one…since I am one of those that cant stand to wear a watch when I play golf.
Tons of benefits from this little device. Thanks for the review Morgan. Remember the old school clicker score keepers you can still buy from Walmart? We’ve sure come along way.
Great review GG! This seems very easy and quick to use. Lightweight and not a bad price. Thanks for the review.
Finally, I can keep stats on a simple device without the headache of always getting my smartphone out and working. Great review GG!
Nice review GG. When you say it’s unobtrusive, does this mean you aren’t bothered by a watch either? I find that when I tried a watch during play, I can’t even swing and wondering if this would be any better.

It is like wearing a watch, but it’s much smaller then a normal bulky men’s watch. It’s more similar to a sleek, small ladies watch, which to me is a lot easier to get used to on your wrist. It will take some time to get used to, but for me it only took a few holes.
Do they ship to europe?
It sounds like this would be a great product for any golfer, but even more for the golfers that tend to walk. Excellent write up Morgan
Thanks for the review GG. I’m not sure it is for me as I don’t like things on my wrist, but I can see this being a big help for many.
I’m with breezy on this one. If someone can wear something on their wrist and not be bothered by it, it might be a nice option for scorekeeping. In my case though, it would drive me up the proverbial wall. Even when I used to wear a watch, I had to remove it to golf.
$30 you can’t go wrong. Great review GG. Interested to know how the band holds up.
Great review GG, I’m not sure if this would really work for me but I do like the concept. I know in high school this would of worked great in matches!
Thanks Morgan! Sounds like a good idea, I just wonder how many times I would actually use it or how many holes would go by where I didn’t plug anything in. Great idea however!
Pretty similar to the device Ive got a year ago for around 50$, very handy to use- for more detailed information I’m using few golf apps for my phone.
great review, looking to buy one of these for me and my brother!
This is a great review of a product I was unaware was on the market. May have to pick up some as gifts and throw one in the bag for myself.
Good review Morgan. While not a big interest for me, I can see these being a perfect item for that $30 gift range for the upcoming holiday season.
Saw this in the THP.news letter looked interesting ordered one a few weeks back and works great time and scores per hole and round very cool .THANKS THP
My favorite part of these bands, besides being able to keep your score on your wrist, it that you can track your putts and chips. I always like to make sure that I track those stats to see what I am losing the most putts on. This looks pretty cool. Thanks for the review.
