Ever wanted to be a club tester/reviewer? We are partnering up with Tour Edge Exotics again for a chance for THPers to do just that. We call the program TEEm Tour Edge and it is going to be an absolute blast.
What is It?
We will select 4 Albatross Club Members of different skill levels that will be part of the team. They will hear from communications, get equipment info and have gear sent directly to their house or work 3-4 times this year. Their job will be to test the equipment out, and review it on the THP Forum and social media in a weekly fashion. Like THP, Tour Edge is looking for honest feedback. The goal here is to help answer questions and share information on the products, so you must be willing to be active, answer questions about the equipment and review each piece for a period of time until the next one shows up.
If you are not a 2022 Albatross Club Member, never fear, the club is open to anybody and helps support an amazing charity in St. Jude. In the name of this community of golfers, we have been able to do things like this.
How Does It Work
Every few months a new piece of equipment will arrive along with some messaging about the technology and product as a whole. Your job will be to take some pictures, test it out and share all of that information on the THP Forum and social media. Each time a new piece of equipment comes, you repeat the tasks and have some fun with it. As part of TEEm Tour Edge, the products you review are yours to keep. The fun of it, is you won’t know what is coming until it shows up, but based on previous years, expect a ton of great stuff.

Give us 1-2 sentences on your plan of action for reviews.
Current handicap is 2.0 and RH
I play ~3 times a week and have a SkyTrak and also use Arccos. Review strategy is to post regularly and compare to other clubs as that’s what’s most helpful to me.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Right handed, current handicap 14. I practice once or twice a week and try to play once or twice so I feel I could put the clubs to the test and review them. I would do some comparing an contrasting against current clubs, I track all my shots on every round so would get some good data with them, and be available for any questions about the equipment.
Good luck to all
Right Handed, 17 handicap
Testing plan – Range session to get a feel for the club(s), play, play, play, play, range bucket, play, play, play and include THP in the feels, sounds and performance of the Tour Edge clubs as they provide the ups and downs of my on course play.
This will stay open through the weekend and then we will announce the members of the TEEm for the year.
Good luck everyone! As much as would love to try out some tour edge greatness, there’s a near certain chance I’ll have my hands full reviewing other equipment
Going to pass on this opportunity, but good luck to all who enter. Looking forward to some great reviews and hearing more about what seems like a company which keeps growing and growing. I am probably too picky with shafts and too difficult to fit to really do the clubs any justice.
This sounds awesome!
I’m coming in at a 9 right now, RH.
I’m in a good spot to review, we live on our course and I have unlimited access to it for as many / few holes as I want. I would take whatever I’m reviewing straight out to the course to see how it works. I’d be able to compare performance against what I already have, as well as hit the new stuff as much as I needed to gauge consistency. I don’t have much experience with TE, so this sounds fun!
Let’s bump this one back up to the first page!
Thinking about this one a lot. Whoever gets to be on the TEEm is in for a great year! Best of luck everyone.
Been thinking about this one a lot. Whoever becomes part of the TEEm is in for a great year!!
Awesome!
Current Handicap – 5.0
Confirm you are RH – Yup
Give us 1-2 sentences on your plan of action for reviews. I play once per week and would report on all range and on-course shots. During the review period, I’d also make frequent trips to a range, and to a sim, to delve more deeply into the club(s) feel, performance, statistics, etc. I’d post reviews almost daily back on THP.
Chance to test some great equipment and get more involved if your not already.
Your Current Handicap: 8.2 GHIN
Confirm you are RH: Yes, RH
Give us 1-2 sentences on your plan of action for reviews: Primary testing and reviews would be based on play on the course as I average playing 5 rounds per week. Would also provide data on swing clubs captured via a Rapsodo MLM and Shot Scope V3 GPS Watch.
Handicap 18.2. I am right handed. I would place posts regularly about my use of the clubs and answer any questions and comments timely
Get those entries in, y’all. This is going to be a great group!
For all those here interested in Tour Edge, I’m trying to help Tour Edge get more social media followers. Give them a follow on Instagram (@TourEdgeGolf) and while you’re at it give THP (@thpgolf) a follow as well.

Both of the above were a couple of my first follows when I started on IG and Twitter. :drinks:

I’d start with in hand thoughts, move to the range to get a feel for them, and talk about what I see on course. I like pics and videos in the reviews I read so I’d incorporate that into my reviews.
This sounds like fun; I’ll toss my hat in the ring,
13 handicap
Confirming I am right handed
Its a whole year of reviews, I’m not sure I want to lock myself into a particular plan now for gear that could cover a spectrum. Generally I’m going to receive and react to the equipment provided, really think about creative ways to execute testing, then provide feedback. More than likely I will post feedback here on THP and link to it / reference it on Facebook and Twitter…although I’m going to confess up front that Twitter isn’t my favorite SM to engage on. Maybe I bounce Twitter and sub in Instagram instead. I don’t see myself providing unique reviews across platforms.
Bump this up this morning get your entries in. 2021 was a blast. 2022 looks like awesome stuff coming.
2 Handicap. Would test on Skytrak and on the course. Getting numbers is always useful and I prefer to practice on Skytrak for the additional feedback anyway. The on course testing would be to see how that performance translates to the real world.
What a cool opportunity.
I’m right handed and currently a 12 handicap. I play a couple of times per week and hit the range pretty regularly. I would share unboxing photos along with my thoughts on how they compare to my current clubs. I would give feedback from my range sessions along with feedback on what I’m experiencing with Tour Edge vs my current gamers. I play alone after work semi regularly and sometimes play multiple balls as I work on something. I’d love to play with two balls – one with Tour Edge, one with what’s in my bag now and one with Tour Edge and provide a write up with side by side comparisons and shot results.
This needs a bump to the 1st page!
TEEm members will be announced later today.
