The surgery was performed Monday in Park City, Utah, by neurosurgeon Dr. Charles Rich and was successful, but Woods will be unable to play immediately and will require rest and full rehab for a few weeks.

  • Hopefully this is what it takes to get him back in contention.

  • He wasn’t going to win it anyway the way he is playing regardless of the bad back. He is not the same player as he was before mentally.
