What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
If you want more information on the V3 or can’t wait to find out if you win and want to order one right from the company, click here.
I have previously tried arccos, but not extensively.
I want to try the Shot Scope because I want to start keeping track of my data more to hopefully improve my game and the reviews on it have been outstanding.
Have you tried a data tracking device? Yes
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I could not get along with phone in pockets and 50% missed shots. I have worn GPS watch for multiple years and still do so wearing a slimmer, improved model such as the V3 is right up my alley.
Yes I have used Arccos for the last 3 years.
Having the Data on your wrist really makes me want to try Shot Scope V3. Not having to go to your phone for yardages while still getting the shot tracking is the next step from arccos.
I’d think this on my wrist would work out so much better! Quick, easy and handy
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I believe course management and club tracking is something that maybe able to shave some serious strokes off my high Handicap.
Yes I had a Garmin watch a while back which i enjoyed but recently broke.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
From what I have read the SS has so much more tech to follow and analyze your shots. Anything that can help me lower my handicap is welcome!
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I want to be able to be able to get deeper into my stats.
Have you tried a data tracking device? I have not tracked data outside of golf apps for shots and score.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
1. Iwant to have the ability to track where rounds went awry.
2. I want to have consistent distances for each club. Often times I resort to that flushed shot earlier in the year or driving range off a mat. Real distances will help. 3. As a bonus. Additionally, I want to see if the SS sticks actually add more distance.
Have you tried a data tracking device?
No, I’ve never had one
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
I truly think this could improve my overall game. I’ve always been one of those oh I hit my 8iron 160 types. Is that true? I think so, but having the data to back it up would really increase confidence on the course.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I won’t have to keep my damn phone in my front pocket any longer!
I have you used a couple. I’ve had the Arccos system, it didn’t work great; the tags were bulky, and the system didn’t read my course. I have the Grint and Golf Logix phone apps, and I have had Blast Motion swing sensor.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? It looks exceptional, the tags are much lower profile and aren’t obtrusive. I’ve searched a couple of products and haven’t found the "one". The Shotscope checks the boxes.
Thanks for this opportunity!
The shot scope looks convenient and easy to use on the course
Have you tried a data tracking device? The closest thing I’ve tried is a couple of apps on my phone… I found them to be limited in their free version, not user friendly, and quickly deleted.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? It’s awesome technology, and I’m a really bad judge of distance using my eyeballs… it’s to the point I don’t trust myself to guesstimate how far I am away from the green and I continually look for on course yardage markers to help me. Plus, I want to enter the information age and know exactly how my shots track; I’m being tired of living in the stone age not knowing how far my clubs go. My 52* wedge goes… it is 50y, 95y, Who knows?
I have tried some of those products, but either the tags were too bulky or I tired of keeping my cell phone out. The shotscope V3 looks amazing. Not only can I put my phone away and readily look at yardage and info from my wrist, but it will truly help me improve my game by knowing my exact numbers. Not to mention March 8 is my B-day, and this would make a great birthday gift!!! Lol
I’ve used arccos for a little over a year now and having the added information on my game/clubs has made a huge difference as I plot my way around a course and what I choose to work on at the range! So i’d say yes I’m a data guy. The more info, the better the possible decisions. The small gripe about the arccos is the input and use in play is all through my phone. I’ve hear the link is very good at addressing this but, but pulled that trigger. So as a result I’d definitely be open to giving the V3 a try! I’ve started wearing a smart watch while I play and it doesn’t bother me, so I don’t see the V3 rubbing me the wrong way!
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I’d love to have data to comb through and digest after a round to help me better my club and shot selection. Having the added benefit of front and carry distances for every hazard on my wrist would also be a really useful feature.
I want to try Shot Scope to see what an improved technology will do to help my game. My handicap has plateaued around a 12 and I think distance control could really help bump me down.
2. I have heard many great things regarding shot scope. I want to see if it is as good as the reviews.
1). I have not tried a data tracking device.
2). The V3 looks like an interesting tracking device and the gps function would be useful during the round. The V3 would be very helpful in checking my club distances and gaps.
I have used Arccos
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
Love that the yardages are on your wristband don’t need to use phone
Have you tried a data tracking device? No I have not.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? The GPS function and ability to see distances to hazards alone is a huge help but I really want to track the data from my rounds to see where my strengths and weaknesses are. I really want to track over time how my game progresses and to see how well I can improve on my weaknesses. Using this would help me figure out where I need to figure on improving my game and track the progress.
I have never used one before but also my yardages were never consistent enough for it to matter. I was getting close last season hope to get there this season and make use of this!
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
Anything that may help me save a stroke or two to beat my s*** talking buddies
Reason for wanting the V3 is I am new to golf (been playing about 8 months now) and I really think having the data after my rounds would be huge in helping me improve my game. I love data and stats for everything that I do so I’d love to have that for my golf game as well.
The duel GPS looks like a game changer for the industry, very sharp looking watch as well I would wear it away from the golf course.
Price point is appealing.

Trying to keep track of yardages by constantly pulling my phone in and out of my pocket was annoying so having the V3 on my wrist should be much easier.

What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I want to dial in the distances of my clubs to help with club selection
1. I have used no data tracking device outside of my noggin.
2. I’m always asking playing partners with something similar or a laser “what’s the distance to xyz?” I’d be most interested in just having accurate distances. I’d also as always extensively review it on THP.
-Have you tried a data tracking device?
Yes, I have used Arccos over the last year.
-What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
I love the idea of a wearable device. I currently have to pop my phone out throughout my round with Arccos and this would eliminate that.
THP just in time for my season to end. I got one round on it though. Great device. Whoever wins this will be very happy with the device.
Good luck!
Have you tried a data tracking device? Nope, never
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? Above all else I’d like to track club distances because this real data will definitely help me improve my game.
1. I use GameGolf to track my stats, distances, and abilities. I have used a few others over the years, too.
2. The Shot Scope looks like it is very easy to use and will keep me off my phone while out on the course, which is a big plus. I like the additional stats that I can look up, like club use %, and % 1/2/3 putts.
Yes but didn’t see consistent results.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
Seems easy to use and incredibly handy.
2. i want to try shot tracking to get an accurate reading on my distances, where the majority of my misses are, and really to use it as a tool to improve my handicap from an 8 to a 3 or better
I have never tried a shot tracking device.
Have heard great things about the Shot Scope V3, it also looks fairly simple to use. And I like red!!!
Yes, I have. I have tried the Shot Scope system in the past. But, with all the upgrades to their current system I would love to try this again.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
With their new "strokes gained" feature, I can see where I need to improve my game, probably every aspect of it. HAHA!! I’d also like to look down at my wrist to see the distance to the middle of the green as well as hazards. The fact that Troon Golf has entered into a partnership with them for GPS on their courses, Shot Scope must be doing something better than the others.
Thanks for the opportunity!
1. Have you tried a data tracking device?
Yes. Arccos (1st gen) but I had issues getting the putter device on and it became frustrating to go back and forth entering shots, moving back a hole, making sure my score was correct, etc. etc. Also tried a GPS watch by Garmin but it was huge and got in the way of my swing.
2. What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
Looks like an awesome device and I’m a data-centric person. Would love to know where I’m losing strokes because I feel like I don’t manage my game very well on the course or in what I need to practice. From what I’ve read the V3 has addressed sizing issues that have prevented me from trying out another GPS watch and I liked reading about how the interface on this watch prevents excessive button pressing on the course, which brings me out of the round pretty quickly.
Yes I had a Garmin watch but found it difficult to use.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
I have heard the SS is very easy to use and provides more gps data.
Have you tried a data tracking device? Not yet.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I’d like to know, rather than guess, my by-the-club distances.
Have you tried a data tracking device? I have never used a data tracking device.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I like the convenience of having it on your wrist, and the minimal intervention required while playing. My main obstacle to using an shot tracking app is that I don’t like having to fiddle too much with electronics on course (i.e. phone apps). This looks like it really helps make shot tracking seamless.
