Have you tried a data tracking device?
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
If you want more information on the V3 or can’t wait to find out if you win and want to order one right from the company, click here.
I currently use a GPS watch, but the V3 will do so much more than what I have now. More info is good.
Yes. I have been using Arccos for nearly 2 years.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
With Arccos, I love the GPS app. The data is useful in tracking my progress as a player. But I do not use nor see much value in their "caddie system" so I’m looking for alternative to Arccos. I think the shot detection of Shot Scope V3 with the watch may be better than the phone in pocket.
Then and the Arccos putter sensor with non-grip compatible screw is shameful if I let someone try my putter with the ratty gorilla tap fraying off everywhere.
2. What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? First off, it looks great. Not like a typical wearable GPS. Second because you can track your shots without wearing any additional accessories. Awesome tech that can help may game and look good doing it.
I have never tried any data tracking devise as of yet.
Would love to try the V3 as not only having the GPS but also know exactly my distances with each club.
Have you tried a data tracking device?
– Yes, currently using Arccos.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
– Slimmer club inserts which would likely be a nice change from the bulky Arccos offering.
– It would be interesting to try a product based around a wrist watch rather than lugging my cell phone around.
– Compare accuracy/stats provided between Arccos and Shot Scope.
1. I have used Arccos in the past and it was great, but I had issues getting the putter counted and having to go back to re-enter shots. It would take me out of the round so I eventually dropped it and never went back to try the newer versions.
2. Reading through the Shot Scope website, I would be really impressed by a watch that I could set and forget about for the round. The v3 looks like it is chock full of details that could help me figure out what I need to do to lose some strokes.
2. I had the original Shot Scope watch a few years back. I didn’t like how chunky it was but I did like the features. I currently wear the Garmin watch so I am used to that and would like to have all of the features right there instead of having to have my phone readily available.
2. The V3 looks easy to use. I would like to see if works better than my current gps which loses track of what hole I am on, if I go on an adventure. I would like to gather shot info to determine actual distances and to see what part of the game needs work the most.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? The amount of data it will give me about shots I have taken and shots I am about to take. Looks to be small enough to not bother me since I don’t normally wear a watch.
Thanks for the chance to win one!
Yes, currently using the Arccoss system with sensors and Cobra Connect for a few years.
What interests me about Shot Scope?
While I love Arccos, using the GPS system on my Apple Watch has been a challenge the last two years. I was part of the beta testing and now a full user with this and the link. However, I am looking for a more user friendly format and operating system if available. Also, my Apple Watch constantly runs out of power from using Arccos and I am looking for a shot detection system that will last using a wearable technology that lasts for multiple rounds a day.
See it will add or deter from my game.
I would like to have v3 models since are less bulky than previous model
My reason for trying Shot Scope is that I play a variety of courses each year and this year will play 5 – 10 new courses. Have a great scope on an unfamiliar course really makes a difference.
I’ve never used any data tracking device in the past.
I’m a mid-teens handicapper and feel my game could really benefit from some statistical analysis that the Shot Scope V3 could provide!
Love having the information right on your wrist at all times.
YES
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
I’ve tried another that I had to manual tap a tag to my phone. It was cumbersome and not intuitive. Automatic shot tracking is what I am looking for.
I’d love to be able to try something that has great reviews like the ShotScope V3. The data would be beneficial to my game as I think I know where I need to get better to shave strokes, but ShotScope V3 would confirm those details. I’ve wavered back and forth between SSV3 and Arccos and have yet to pull the trigger. Hopefully this experience would be vastly different than my GG experience.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? The reviews have been too good to not want to give Shot Scope V3 a try!
I would LOVE to try this one as a friend of mine got one and swears by it.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? This would replace the need (or want) for the Golf Pad subscription and replace it with an easier to use and more intuitive product than an app on my phone that I can also use on my watch…sort of.
I would like to try the Shot Scope V3 for more detailed stats and the GPS would be wonderful
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3?
I desperately want to become a consistent golfer that shoots in the 80s every time. Hopeful this will help the cause!
2. I think being able to have this feature on my wrist without having to continue reaching in & out of my pocket or grabbing from the cart would make it more enjoyable to see my ranges
Thank You !!!
I have not tried a data tracking device yet.
The Shot Scope V3 looks like an amazing piece of technology and I think it would allow me to better determine my shot patterns and tendencies. This would give me greater insight into what I need to work on in practice and lessons, and also what part of my game will make the biggest impact on scoring.
Thanks.
Alan
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? Get distances without taking out my range finder and be able to have data for after my rounds. Plus see above on losing things. Less chance of losing it if it is attached to me.
Why would you…… I have heard some very good things about the V3 system and like the idea of having the information available on my wrist as opposed to my phone. I would like to compare the two systems.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? The feature displaying bunkers and water hazards would be highly beneficial to me. Being a high handicapped golfer, I have my fair share of shots that land in both, and being able to know the front and carry distances of these should allow me to make better shotmaking decisions.
I’ve heard good on the Shot Scope, but they were out of stock everywhere.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I like the convenience of a wearable device. Once getting past the initial learning phase of the product I think it will be faster than, say, an app-centric device. I know that the data can be reviewed through the app, but I prefer to run other apps on my phone while playing (music, etc) so I’d like to keep the phone clear during the round and review later. This seems to be the perfect system for that.
Thank you to THP and Shot Scope for the opportunity.
2. Because while I love my Garmin as an all purpose sports watch, it doesn’t track nearly the info i need from a golf watch. Specifically, club data…how far each club goes, what are my misses, where do i need to work on.
Thanks, spottedrooster
2. Only heard good things and would love to try. Will speed up play as well, quick look at the watch instead of having to pick up the rangefinder before every single shot.
What makes you want to try the awesome Shot Scope V3? I would love to have all my data automatically at my fingertips and compare to others. I have some ideas on what I need to work as I track my stats from round to round, but it’s a pain to trend and I can’t compare to anyone else.
I used data tracking with the now defunct Game Golf. It was helpful in seeing that I was misjudging my distances, misses, and general capabilities
2- I’ve hit a plateau and really want to see whats holding me back. At the end of last season different parts of my game came together, but not the whole thing.
Thanks for the contest! Good luck all!
