Day three of Fall Fashion Preview brings us another brand that we have covered previously here at The Hackers Paradise. Back in February of THP got a chance to take a look at Etonic Stabilizer for men and we came away quite impressed. When Fall Fashion Preview came around, we immediately reached out to them to see what they had coming out. They were kind enough to send over some samples of the men’s and women’s lines.

Etonic takes its popular Power Up technology featuring the PowerPlay Outsole System and expands it into two new models for 2009-10, Dri-Tech and Sport-Tech. Each model features Etonic’s state-of-the-art PowerPlay Outsole System designed to deliver superior traction, balance and power.

Etonic first introduced the PowerPlay Outsole System last year in two of its high performance shoes – Stabilizer and Sof-Tech. Since the launch, the pair has received outstanding accolades from consumers. The PowerPlay Outsole System is designed to work with the foot’s natural anatomy to promote traction, flexibility, stability and the range of motion required to execute proper footwork and optimize balance in the swing. The result is improved ball-striking while maximizing power transfer to the ball.

“The Stabilizer and Sof-Tech have performed well this year at retail,” said Tom Elwell, CEO, Etonic Worldwide. “Golfers can see the technology and feel the difference once they put the shoe on. Game improvement has always been the pillar of our brand success and the PowerPlay Outsole System is one more example. In 2010, we have added PowerPlay outsole features to our entire line, giving golfers a wider selection in the mid-level and opening price points.”

  1. Golfer Gal says:

I love the Argyle pattern on the ladies shoes.

  2. rhonda says:

    Love the ladies shoes.

  3. mike james says:

I have never really liked the Etonic line, but I like the stiching in the photos. Man, when you blow those pics up the pics come alive. good job.

  4. Shoe Gal says:

I bought a pair of Etonics last year and while they were not all that stylish, they really fit well and last well too. If these ones fit as well as my last pair did, they have a winner, because the diamond pattern looks great.

  5. Blake Martin says:

For years I wore only Eccos, but when I got a gift that was a pair of Etonics last year, I tried them out and the fit is really good. I will have to check these out.

  6. THE ECHO says:

They need to make the mens shoes as stylish as the ladies ones.

  7. Mr. Burke says:

Very interesting. I have always worn FJs, but recently I think the quality has gone down a little bit. I will have to try these on.

  8. Smallville says:

Some of these may be worth a shot. They aren’t THAT much more than what I usually pay for golf shoes.

  9. Puttin4Bird says:

JB, I love the ability to blow the pics up to high res, great feature in a review, especially in clothing and/or shoes as is the case here. I have to say I like the women’s line a lot more than the men’s…. I have long considered Etonic to be more of a value line of shoes, but they seem to be looking to enter into the performance line with the new offerings. For the price, I can’t say that I’d pick them over an adidas powerband or something based solely on appearance anyway, how they feel is very important too, but for me if the look isn’t there I am likely to move on. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not ugly….just maybe not as appealing some other top of the line competitors.

  10. ClairefromClare says:

I like the look of the women’s shoe, and the price point is pretty good.
