Big Thanks to "The Boss"

This site and the people it attracts never ceases to amaze me. After helping me out with a laptop problem, I pushed my luck by asking him for help with Liz's desktop that died. He walked me through all kinds of stuff over about two hours, figured out the likely culprit and even found the new parts for me dirt cheap.

I know I had to have caused a lot of brain damage with all my stupid questions such as, "Which one is my motherboard", lmao. He never wavered for a moment.

Thanks Boss, I have a new good friend from the UK!

Actually that was on Liz's desktop. We came home from a trip and the power safety thing was blown. Guess it got the unit to.

Who knows if I can put the new MB in myself, but what else do you do on a cold winter evening?
