I was wondering something along the same lines. How does it compare in size to the Big Bertha '19 hybrids? That looks, large.
Interesting, though I'm honestly not sure how on earth it could creep more into the fairway wood length realm than the Flash already does. If it does, that’s scary.
I prefer the look of a FW over a hybrid. The hybrid I have now is quite large so this is something I’m definitely interested in testingWhen I first opened the box, I was thinking "man that is big". As you dive in a bit more, it kind of rounds off of that. If that makes any sense. Kind of like saying "boy this is a tiny fairway wood" vs "this is a large hybrid".
Yeah, that’s deal breaker for me.I'd love one of these in a 17°
but oof that $320 price
Big Bertha, Epic Flash, Apex and now these. I am not sure...I guess my immediate reaction is kinda in the realm of why do we need 4 lines of hybrids? Also, not sure about that name. I’m a big Callaway fan but this one feels like a bit of a miss for me.
I agree with this, 4 lines of hybrids in less than a 12-month period seems bit ridiculous. Not a huge fan of them name either.
I honestly do not know how it could be any longer than the Epic Flash head, although the larger size certainly could make it easier to launch and more forgiving.
Out of curiosity why? Its not ridiculous when a company releases 5-8 iron sets why are hybrids different? Genuine question.
I think when this hits more mainstream in stores, it will be a different animal, as more of a new category for some. Its larger than most hybrids, and smaller than most fairways.
To be fair, I also think it is ridiculous to release 5-8 iron sets in less than a year.
maybe the most interesting thing to me is this is geared toward faster swingers. when i think distance hybrid, that is not the player i generally think about.
