My neighbor gave me a couple dozen lightly used prov1/v1x as they were his old gaming ball.

My sister and her husband gave me a dozen Nike PD and a dozen Bridgestone e5s.

Easy. Walk into golf store, see balls on sale. Remind self that you bought a couple dozen last time balls were on sale. Reason with yourself that you'll blow through them all soon. Buy another dozen or two.

I have a lot, but I don't feel bad about it at all, especially at the prices I paid. Nike was clearing out the 20XI for about $15 so I bought a few dozen. At Target they had the Rocketballz Urethane for $8 a dozen so I bought quite a few boxes, good ball for winter. Woot had the Lethal Practice for $10 so I bought a lot of those.

Other than a sleeve of chrome soft to try I haven't bought golf balls recently and have far more than enough to last me until the next deal too good to pass up.
