My take out dinner makes me sad now.

Well, it finally made it here and the stand I built for it fit like a glove. Now more meet adventures!

Congrats you will love it, great job on the table

JB can you post some more cross-sectional images of your creations? I'm interested in seeing depth of smoke penetration.

Just put the bird on the grill.

That looks creaking delicious. Did it make the skin crisp up?

Waiting to hear how the cider worked out

JB, does that grill travel well? I mean a trip to Hilton Head should be in order!

You are making me hungry with these pics

Quite well. Although I think beer might work even better.

Its a bit large and heavy for that.

We've done it numerous times with Beer. But Lee likes her cider. I'm going to give it a go

I used simple garlic powder and onion powder with some rosemary on the outside. It added some solid flavor along with the smoke.

JB, are you a fan of Indian food? (Like India Indian, not native American.)

If so, have you tried cooking naan in your grill?

Oh my. Naan in one of those would be insane.

Freaking love naan! I've been researching these grills for the last little bit and people said they are similar to tandoori ovens. So it got me thinking. I love to cook and want to learn Indian food next. One of these grills may kill two birds with one stone.

Now I'm taking the wife to our favorite Indian restaurant.

Im not a huge Indian food fan, outside of naan ironically. Have not worked with it yet as the grill is new, but it will get done at some point.

The chicken was incredible. This will be in our regular rotation for sure. The only thing I hate about doing the whole chicken is that we don't really like dark meat so I feel like we are wasting that part.

I should just come live on a cot in the garage then. I can skype parent come December.
