This is a press release

FlightScope®, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of 3D Doppler tracking radars and launch monitors for golf and other sports, today announces the availability of its Xi Tour model. The Xi Tour is the most lightweight, portable, accurate and affordable 3D Doppler tracking radar available today. This new addition to FlightScope's suite of launch monitors now includes the cutting-edge technology and data parameters only previously available in professional models.

"Our team is very excited to finally reveal the Xi Tour to the golf community," said Henri Johnson, Inventor and CEO of FlightScope. "This new tour caliber model makes the same training technology as the pros more accessible for golfers of all skill levels. We also believe this will be a revolutionary tool for teachers, giving them the ability to asses and train their students with added convenience."

All 27 data parameters are displayed while training with the Xi Tour, giving users unmatched detailed analysis of their ball flight and swing. Some of the advanced analytics now available with the new model include club path, face to path, face to target, dynamic loft, vertical decent angle, vertical swing plane, horizontal swing plane, apex height, and flight time.

"I began using the Xi Tour late last year when I began working with a new instructor. He relies heavily on numbers and analytics to perfect my swing, so having the Xi Tour when I am not face to face with him allows me to work on the changes he wants me to make to my swing," said Matt Every, PGA Tour Player and winner of the 2015 Arnold Palmer Invitational. "I use the device every day and couldn't have made the progress I have made without the Xi Tour."

All of the data recorded by the Xi Tour can be viewed real time on FlightScope's VX2 or FlightScope Skills apps, and then uploaded to My FlightScope.com. This is the first model in the Xi series that is compatible with the VX2 app, which allows players to review video of their swing for instant analysis. Players can also integrate the device with the wireless BodiTrak pressure mat for further analysis.

Going off memory, I believe this one will come in around $8,995.

Vey nice. Flightscope has been at the top of list for an LM. While the price is a little higher than the Xi+ it's still cheaper than the elite or it's competitor trackman.

sounds like this will be somewhat of a replacement for the x2 and falls in the middle of the plus and the elite. One more option to ponder.

Having no reference point to go by, is that affordable? Seems high to me.

For what is packed in there it is a solid price point

These are so cool. I wish they were more affordable.

BTW, They might want to edit their press release.

"giving them the ability to asses and train their students"

So what is this giving up compared to the full price model?

A few measurements and some tiny accuracy numbers.

They must really want to get to the bottom of their student's swing.

Very cool and looks like a solid product. I too wish they were more "accessible for golfers of all skill levels" and income levels.
I'd love to have one, but not everyone can drive a Bentley.

Love seeing this, if for no other reason than it shows this technology is getting cheaper and cheaper, and the cheaper it gets, the more accessible it gets.

Very cool. It's more affordable than in the past that's for sure but still out of reach for most. Hopefully by the time I have my indoor golf room setup (5 years hopefully) something like this is a little easier to come by.

Really cool! I wish I could get something like this but the wife would probably mount my head over the fire place if I did. If anything it's getting down there in price, so maybe one day.

This is the new way to hone in your swing. Pretty exciting stuff if you ask me.

This sounds gloriously awesome. Information galore!

This was a fun and dangerous device. Fun because you see your swing in all its glory. Dangerous because once you have that and the skills challenge, you really want one.

What would really stop you from going this direction vs the X2 elite?

Since we're splitting time with it, the price difference on top of do I really need those additional features. This was the flightscope I was using last week, and I was more than satisfied with the results. I don't remember what the elite x2 offered over this one feature wise to be honest.

Yikes, that still quite a bit, but I know say your course or pro shop would be into it at a price like that.

The prices on these units are going in the right direction. I still don't know if $9K is still a range that most club pros could afford to invest in. Seems to me the magic number would be around $5k ...

9 g's? And a lender program?? Amanda better hope my motorcycle doesn't sell lol.

Very cool, I think it's a great price. I always like looking at the hang time nice little feature.
