Hello...I grew up in Orange county, California where I was a child prodigy, introduced to golf before the age of two, by my father Earl....oh wait that's Tiger Woods.
Actually, I live in San Diego where we are fortunate to play golf year around....however I still suck, so I have no excuse. I generally play the military courses in SD since I'm retired Navy. I recently played Torrey Pines with a fellow THPer "sandiegonative" and had a great time.
I finally switched to game improving irons....for 20 years I refused to play with anything other than Blades (Ben Hogan '64 Percussions, Ben Hogan Apex 50's) until I realized my handicap was going in the other direction!
Anyway, looking forward to reading some THP posts.
