Took my kiddo to the beach, we had a blast.
. We met with my high school PE teacher and played baseball with the class. Cought up with a couple of old high school friends and a friends mom. They all were suprised my son is only 3, they said hes so big for 3. They guessed his age was closer to 5.

I'm staying at my in-laws condo in Palm Springs for the weekend.
I'm here for a seminar. Their back yard is on the 12th hole.
I've stayed here a couple of times before but never since I got into golf.
I purposely left my clubs at home knowing I'd probably end up skipping the seminar and going golfing.
No clubs, beautiful course. This is torture.

Nice little road trip to Bandon to cap off my vacation, took a detour to northern California and tracked down the Grove of Titans. Its the largest in tree size coastal redwood forest. It contains the tallest tree on the planet and the largest single and multiple stem redwood trees. Something like 10 of the 20 largest trees known are in this small area. Now I'm sipping v.s. cognac before I hit the hot tub.
I'm in there somewhere.
The Grove of Titans isn't actually the Grove of Titans anymore.
A bunch of new volume and diameter records were discovered earlier in 2014 at other regions of Redwood National and State Parks. Read:

The site's other pages on the grove indicate that the "ten" largest thing was incorrectly propogated by another source, But it does have a few large redwoods obviously.
