Extremely late but is that a Beechcraft bonanza ?

Yes it is, 1966 model that has been updated with the latest in electronics. I was allowed to fly it for about 30 minutes and had an absolute blast.

Really fun airplanes but I've heard the v tails have stability issues compared to the T tails.

Either way they are powerful as hell and a blast.

Friends dad co owned a Bonanza and a Baron and they were both great.

My buddy and I spoke about the same thing. He bought into a small club (16 guys total) and they have this one and another plane around the same age but only this one has the v-tail. He prefers the electronics in this one but the handling of the other. The v-tail seemed easily unstable to me in the air when the conditions weren't perfect. Of course I'm a total noob so my opinion means very little. It is fantastic on fuel after he "leaned" it our during flight getting down to like 8.5 gallons per hour when cruising at like 160 knots.

Small planes are a blast for short trips however I don't recommend going from Boston to Breckinridge .

That was awful.

Hahaha, I couldn't imagine. We only went like 120 miles each way and walked from the air strip to an amazing BBQ joint for lunch before heading back.

He takes trips from DFW to OH/KY, etc but that's about as far as he likes to go on these smaller planes. Also does some rescue dog transport when people are adopting which is really damn cool since he does it for them for free. He just absolutely loves flying and sharing the experience with friends.

The best of the best. Should be amazing.
As an Air Force guy, I have to say.... Yeah, the Angels effing rock it. Far and away better than the Tbirds.

Seen each 3 or 4 times. No contest.

It's freaking amazing what the Jets can do and even more amazing that humans are controlling them. If I could go back and do it all over again knowing what I do now, I'd totally apply myself more in school and tried to be a jet fighter pilot.

Can't beat teeing it up with Scrap Iron and Jaysfan in Kamloops today, even if the course was nigh unplayable in the wind. High scores were posted, but much fun was had. And thanks Scrap for driving all the way from freaking Calgary to tee it up with us bums!
