Wish it was that way around here... I have my EMT, FF 1 and 2 cert and waited over a year for a job. In a year span literally 5 jobs opened up and they received over 3k applicants for those. My dad was a FF for over 35 years as well and that's what I really want to do.

its the same thing here, prob worse honestly. took me 8 years of applying before i got hired. tough market to get into even if you apply at a bunch of large cities. thats honestly your best bet.

he said for $1 a ball, I can go through and pick out my dozens on my own, might be the move next time
